+53 Its not unsocial to spend a weekend playing a video game, because you have friends in the game, amirite?

You might want to go back to English class instead of playing video games.

Coming from someone who has a deep love of video games, this is untrue. There's really no game with a deep enough multiplayer to work as a substitute for human interaction, and if you're talking about singleplayer than I really don't know what to say to you.

If you're talking about a multiplayer game, I agree. If you're talking about the characters in a singleplayer game... erm... you might want to step outside for a bit.

I wouldn't say that multiplayer games aren't social, but I wouldn't say that they are the equivalent to actual human interaction.
