About me.
Apollos is one of the people mentioned often by Paul in the New Testament.

I'm a Christian, and believe in everything that the bible has to say.
I like to argue/debate, but truth is my goal; not necessarily always being right.

Of all sinners, I am the worst, but there is a God who loves even me. For it is by grace I am saved, not by works so that I cannot boast. But: Faith without works is dead. You show me your faith without deeds and I will show you my faith by what I do. A person is justified by what they do and not by faith alone. (references to I Timothy, Ephesians, James)

I don't post much anymore because I've said all that I have to say. Drop a comment if you want to talk/ask me something/tell me something/whatever and I'll get back to you eventually.

I would write it, but It would probably turn out really long. A person has posted his story on this thread.

*Ayyub (Arabic name for Job)

He says, "I am as my servant thinks of me." After this was mentioned by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), he also said to his companions, “None of God's servants should die except while assuming the best about God.”
[Sahîh Muslim (5125)]

God cannot treat the righteous and the immoral the same. When we repent to God, we show that we are in need of him, that we are in need of his mercy and that is one of the things God loves. Those who reject, reject all signs of God repeatedly. These people will knowingly commit chaos and emit enmity. Most of all though, they will never repent even if they're at the brink of death, even though their Lord has clearly stated to repent.

God says: “I am as My servant thinks of Me. I am with him when he remembers Me. If he mentions Me within himself, I mention him within Myself. If he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in a better assembly. If he comes near to Me a hand-span, I come near to him the distance of a cubit. If he comes near to Me the distance of a cubit, I come near to him the distance of two outspread arms. If he comes to Me walking, I come to him running.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî}

Just a side note:
You asked me "why does Muhammad talk about..." It's actually not him talking. It's God that is talking. Muhammad (pbuh) was illiterate. When God refers to himself as "We" or "Us" instead of "I" is because he refers to himself as well as all his names/attributes. We believe God has 99 names/attributes, such as "The Timeless" or "The Guardian" etc.

Yes, I would definitely be up to it. Also, I found the Bible online so it's easier for me to read it since I can access it on my phone. I'd also like to say that if you have any questions whilst reading the Quran, you can ask me and if I have any questions, I'll ask you. I hope that's alright with you.

Islam builds a link between God and his creation and I cannot let go of such perfection. I can't explain the beauty of it in words, and even if i could, it would not do justice. You know, most people just think we worship a big black box in Mecca and chop off people's heads for a living. People actually came to me and asked me why I practice a religion that "spreads terror." I don't know if you've ever read a translation of the Qur'an, but if you ever so happen to come across a copy, do read it. Maybe then you'd understand why I can't bear to let go of it because I know I'm not doing a very good job explaining things to you.

Exactly. I do think Jesus (peace be upon him) is worthy of mountain-loads of honor and respect. It's just that both of us look at it in a different way. You may be a Christian and I may be a Muslim, but that doesn't mean we have to divide ourselves. The Qur'an does say:

"...and nearest among them in love to the Muslims will you find those who say, 'We are Christians,' because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant"

Same to you. Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) is definitely an amazing hero and is one of the most greatest role models to follow. He did great things before, and he will do great things in the future. I'm sure both of us can agree on that.

I was recently going through our past conversations and I just wanted to apologize for being very ignorant and impolite at the time. I certainly did not mean any harm at all. I understand that my behaivior towards you was not very decent at all and that I might have disrespected your religion along the way. In all respects, I think you are a very intellectual person and that you're someone who sticks to their beliefs which is something that is very rare to see nowadays. Christianity and Islam are similar in many ways and through that understanding we can get along. I do hope that I did not disrespect you or Christianity in any way and if I did, please forgive me for my shortcomings.

Errrr. My aunt had a piano and her kids would have lessons but they would never learn anything, so i used to play whenever i was over at her house. I loved it so i went and bought a keyboard for myself :)
