For every 1000 incidences of sexual abuse or rape: 310 are reported to police; 57 lead to arrest; 11 result in charges; 7 result in convictions and **zero** (0) result in the women gaining riches, popularity, or power. Why then, in our society are so many people convinced that women often file false reports of rape? As if there was some benefit for reporting rape and abuse? Let’s give women the benefit of the doubt – at least until there can be a fair trial.
People telling women to get back in the kitchen, people saying women are horrible drivers, women should dress certain ways, women can't compete in certain things. Someone literally just told me that women shouldn't be allowed in the army on this website. Women's products are often priced higher, much of women's pants don't have pockets for the sake of selling handbags, women's rights are largely decided by men in countless countries. Do you really feel that sexism is not all over?
Court doesn't handle much sexism. It's definitely rampant, I see way too much sexism in my day to day to call it anything other than rampant. And you're right, no one said sexism was good, did something I say imply otherwise?
Messy and unpleasant to say. Singular "they" is fine, thank you. It's been in use since Shakespearean times for crying out loud. If we can coin these cumbersome clunky non-words, we can certainly use the frickin' singular "they" without offending stuffy English teachers.
Look around? If look around I'll see several people who aren't fit for any formed of armed forces regardless of gender. But since we're just looking around, watch ONE episode of American Ninja Warrior or maybe watch the Olympics. You genuinely think there's no way for any woman to be strong enough to go into the army? Do you know what serious physical training can do? Do you actually believe that army equipment is so unwieldy and heavy that it can't be effectively loaded onto a truck with just a few strong people and an effective system? Also, you can gauge upper body strength just by looking at someone? You can tell what they bench? bone density? stamina? Think about it seriously, not in any generalizations and stereotypes. If they want to go into the military, **train them and put them in the military**
Of course, we hate women so much there is nothing else we would like to do than to remind the common woman that she's inferior, we totally don't have mothers or daughters and definitely have no reason to ever love women (sarcasm in case someone thinks I was serious)
Thanks for your baseless sexist rhetoric, and by thanks, I mean I never asked you and don't give me any of it. I'd be stunned if you could legitimately cite sources to back up anything you said. Bottom Line: If they want to go into the military, train them and put them in the military.
