For me, when I lived out in the country a few lifetimes ago, it was scorpions you had to watch out for. Had a few black widows, but not nearly as bad as those dang scorpions. Got stung a couple of times by them, but always had Benedril on hand to counteract.
Life has settled down a bit for now. I have gotten picky about which posts I read, much less actually answer. So often there simply are to many really dumb posts, or the questions are just not worth wasting my time on 'em.
Narrowing the differences between the sexes is nothing new but it has been amplified of late. For example Washington state has advanced legislation to make terms formerly gender specific to non gender specific ie; statesman to statesperson mailman to mail person, families not labeling their children as male or female,in lieu of letting the child decide. There is a force at work to tweek the natural to the unnatural and it's aimed right at the next generation of men and women. In time looking the same wont be enough you will think the same too that is where this poppycock is headed.
I am sorry for the loss of your son - I have 2 sons, so I only imagine the loss you must feel. But, please know that there are people like me, who appreciate the sacrifice your son and your family has made for our freedoms. Thank you.
Upon reading your responses I beg to differ. Men are allowed to post polls in spite of being badgered and ridiculed by a man hater who disagrees with the polls content.I have a vested interest in respecting men because I have two sons I don't want vilified for the color of their skin or their gender, by anyone, internet or otherwise. By your own admission you learned early on not to be intimidated by the men you worked for. That implies not even SOME of the men were not intimidating, poor guys got the "broad" brush once again.I have worked for and with SOME vicious women but I see you managed to verbally mangle only males, you know the very ones who primarily fought and died in combat to preserve freedom for your sake and mine, including one of my son's. Making women seem weak, brainless, spineless and without options while profiling men as the reason is pathetic.
You better believe it!!!(hehe) How unfortunate for such a statement, but sadly expected. I'll be sure and let all of the females whom I've had the privilege to hire in my work life, who have ALL been paid the same for the same work as the lesser amount of males I have hired know how threatened I was when they were offered their jobs. The best to you.
