I'm sure you're the kind of person who would protest against the building of a highway due to the fact that it might disrupt the humble abode of a squirrel, or the clearing away of dead underbrush, so that the beetles would have a place to live.

You seem like the type of person who could use a nice punch in the face.

That's a bit extreme, I think. Most parents deserve basic respect. If you're talking back and being a ****, I think they have a right to tell you not to talk back to them. When you're no longer a dependant, you no longer have to worry about these rules. But until then...And this is a lot coming from a guy whose mom took him to an exorcist when he came out.

Unfortunately, not really. They just don't talk about it, anymore, which is honestly better than the alternative. But thank you for the well-wishes. :)

Yes, she took me to an exorcist. But she didn't even have the patience to go through the right channels, so she took me to a back-door exorcist. She paid a priest directly to do it. As an opera major, I have had to learn a lot of Italian and Latin, so I decided to **** with them. When he started the prayer, I began twitching, drooling, and speaking in different languages. My mom yelled, "HALLELUJAH!".
..........
After a dead silent drive home, my mom let the car idle while we sat in the garage. Looking at me with tears in her eyes, she whispered, "So, Zachary...How do you feel?"
I acted like I thought really hard about the question:

"Well, Mom...I kinda feel like sucking a ****."

She didn't talk to me for three days.

"Call Me Maybe" is mine. Just hits me with a brick wall of emotion. It's really...oh...yeah, I'm tearing up a bit. It's just so monumental, you know? Oh god, really crying now. I mean, she just met him, right, and it's probably crazy, and then she gives him her number, and he may or may not call her. Pretty strong stuff.

Then half of his body should be somewhere else near by and that head stone should read, "BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE."

^That has to be the most stereotypical teenage girl response to something that I have ever seen, ever. It includes an omg, repeating letters at the end, and as a finishing touch, the omission of a needed apostrophe. It was posted by "That Crazy Girl", which is funny in itself because most stereotypical teenage girls will refer to themselves as "crazy". Well done, would read again, 10/10.

So if we imagine women to be fish and guys to be the fishermen, then we can get the following scenarios;

The lonely guy who, as you say, is left holding his rod while there are not fish going for his bait.
The creepy "Captain Ahab" like guy who stalks one fish for days on end and will hook it no matter what the eventual cost will be.
The happy fisher who goes home with his fish at the end of the day and is happy with life.
The guy who does this for fun, or one of the supposed ****, who will catch a fish and then release it before catching a new one.
Oh and lest we forget the fishing crew who go out after one fish and rape it mercilessly.

I mean catch it. (wary)

Maybe its a geographic thing or the people I'm around are different from your people but generally if a friend of mine said he was walking around naked and stupid drunk in the middle of the night and a couple guys rolled on him and took his wallet and phone people would (in a humorous tone) say that's what he gets for being incredibly irresponsible with his night and he shouldn't get sympathy. Obviously this doesn't apply to rape but I said that above

this is completely irrelevant to this discussion, but I'm lolling at the thought of a naked man getting his wallet stolen... where is he keeping this?

You know what I just realised? Women aren't locks and men aren't keys. We're all human beings with complex emotions and sexualities and no-one should have the right to decide who can enjoy having more than one sexual partner and who can't based on their gender. If a woman wants to have sex with multiple partners without getting into relationships with them and she practices safe sex then why can't she? What right does anyone, male or female, have to look down on her? Stop acting like there's one rule for men and one for women, we aren't living in the 50s anymore.

Nobody "supports abortion". They simply believe it is the right of the woman to choose; that's why it's called "pro-choice", not "pro-abortion."

Alright, here are mine, do with them what you will:

1) Not all opinions are created equal. Just because something is an opinion, doesn't mean that it is valid or that it is respectable. Good segue:
2) Respect is something earned, not automatically warranted.
3) There should be no conscription and no draft. If there is to be, then women should be conscripted along with men. That is true equality.
4) Feminism is a good thing. But it's the name that confuses people. Most feminists are for equality across the board. But see #3
5) Calling suicide "selfish" is pointless because you only want them to stick around for your own selfish reasons
6) We are an over-medicated society and too quick to prescribe psychoactive drugs. Segue into:
7) Some diagnoses of ADHD are simply characterizations of normal behavior, especially for young boys. The school system in general labels normal young male behavior as "ADHD" and medicates them.
8) Marijuana should be legal, so should many other drugs.
9) Freedom of religion also means freedom from religion.
10) Homosexuality is not a choice, but it wouldn't be less valid if it were.
