Back in my day if you had a problem you got a bottle of Jack Daniels and dealt with it, these days kids just want wanna talk about feelings.

I got mixed feelings because I don't think just burying your feelings is perfect, but kids are also expressing their feelings with guns in schools now because they're feelings were so hurt that they thought the payback of killing would be right.

So I think, like everything in life, there is a balance that needs to be maintained.

I sorta made the post since we lost "The Old Man".. R.I.P. ... though I didn't say that. I don't know how he was in real life, but he seemed cool on the show (when he wasn't sleeping)... well that and I didn't like him trying to get items.

Though now I guess I'm interested in what you got against his Big Hoss. In person? Or just on the show? But yeah Hoss has never seemed like the friendliest guy.

The Old Man was an original, and as with my parents I could love him even when not agreeing with his sentiments that were often rendered in a style of dry and sarcastic wit. I'll miss him...and someone had to keep Chumlee in line!

Well what do ya know, sorry to see the old man go, he did provide plenty of laughs and such. Haven't watched Pawn Stars in years, not since before Chum Lee's little stint.

Eh when buying sparklers this afternoon for the 4th of July, my 13 year old daughter told me that she was scared of holding those sparklers TELLING ME how dangerous they were lol...I told her how I too was scared at FIVE years old the 1st time I held a lit sparker that was handed to me by my dad during my childhood streets neighborhood 4th of July celebration back in the late 60's, and told her that because of how times were back then, we as little girls wanted to be considered just as tough as the boys on our street, so I held it and got over my fear quickly with my dad by my side.

Eh fast forward 50 years.... we now have many teenage kids FEARING FOR THEIR LIVES by just holding a feakin' 4th of July sparkler, FEARING FOR THEIR LIVES if they try smoking a cigarette, FEARING FOR THEIR LIVES if they eat fast food, FEARING FOR THEIR LIVES because of our 2A etc., yet at the same time they have NO FEAR of eating Tide Pod laundry detergent, NO FEAR of smoking pot, NO FEAR of trying heroin, NO FEAR of putting freakin' condoms up their noses and NO FEAR of today's Democrat party that is now loud and proud as being SOCIALISTS.... promising them AS YOUNG AND DUMB TEENAGERS, a future of "free" EVERYTHING as long as they vote Democrat, smh.
