About me.
I'm Tessa, not the stereotypical teenager from Canada! A LOT of us actually don't use 'eh' when we speak, and it's friggin' annoying when people say we do! I love photography, art, singing, and standing out from the ditzes at my school. I also believe that it's super important to be kind to everyone no matter what (Thanks Rachel S.!)
I live in what Americans think 'the north' is (N. Central Alberta), but really, the temp in the summer can get to 30C...(86F) In the winter, it's usually -20C (-4F), so IT DOES get cold!

only -4? it was like -10 for all of February this year and I live in IL...

Yeah. It makes more sense that way but our government is too greedy to participate.

I have no opinion on it, beside it's screwed, no matter what we do about it. Unless we copy the Canadian health care system.
But when we try to do that, some dumb republican cries socialism, so we can't get anywhere. We can't get anywhere with ANYTHING because our political parties are complete dickheads and won't agree on anything.

Lesson 1 on America: We are ignorant as heck. And yes, those are the only countries we will know a plethora of things about.
Everything else is just...Bleh.
I don't like to admit it but our school system sucks.

That "eh" was not directed at you being Canadian.
I didn't realize I said it until I thought about it just then. I just say "eh' of my own accord. But it sounds more like "eh" and not "a" like the stereotype.....
I just walked myself into a hole.

Eh.
Not really. We have to learn where the provinces and stuff are... and then we learn a little bit about Canada if it's history ever coincides with ours.
But other than that...no. We don't really learn any kind of detailed history on any country that isn't a threat to us and basically has the same religious/moral values as ours.
