In Spain, the age of consent is 13 that is to say two 13 year olds can have coitus legally.

A language is considered "dead" when they " are no longer spoken by anyone as his or her main language".

Read more closely. That poll wasn't of evolutionary biologists, it was of "1001 adults nationwide". It was a poll of the general public.

God and evolution are not mutually exclusive. Theists are not necessarily evolution-deniers and evolution-supporters are not necessarily atheists.

Also, this is why debating theists is impossible. You can show them all the proof in the world, but they're able to say "maybe God made it that way" or "He's just testing us."

If God doesn't exist then who cares? Christians will end up in the exact same place as everyone else so it doesn't matter what they believe or what anybody does. But if God does exist, then those who don't believe in Him are all screwed.

As Albert Camus said "I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is."

Electrons microscopes allow for atomic imagery.

Over 90 percent of scientists support the idea of evolution. (Scientists, as in university educated people who study how things work.)

If over 90 percent of Doctors agreed X causes cancer, would you believe them?

Maybe you don't take their word for it but all studies are documented and peer reviewed.

That's not really a valid point i mean 3000 years ago most educated people thought the sun revolved around the earth. Furthermore, just a hundred years ago a large majority of astronomers thought the universe was infinite. Just because a bunch of people believe it doesnt make it true.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHtxnIkzros This guy expresses my views on the cosmological argument much better than I could myself. He is a bit of an ****, but he has some good points. Descartes' ontological argument is still based only on personal belief, and you know my thoughts on that matter.

I'm not saying that all of these arguments are infallible i was just listing to refute the common misconception that there is no evidence for the existence of god. There is a multitude of arguments including the teleological, anthropic, and transcendental arguments. My point is there is evidence for a god and there is evidence for atheism you can choose to accept whichever but it is logically incoherent to say there is no evidence for god.

Assuming that it counts as a religion, I wouldn't say so. I would say that atheism is the most logical religion (even though it's not a religion). There's no evidence for a God, so logically, one shouldn't assume. I do see where you're coming from, though.

I have to disagree i would say there is sufficient evidence for both sides. For example the kalam cosmological argument, the moral argument, Descartes' ontological argument. All of these are logical arguments. On the other there is also evidence for atheism such as the existence of evil but in the end it was whatever you personally believe.

Technically if you want logic you would be an atheist, because a god in general is not logical.

Actually by definition god is logical, since he is an omniscient being. Even the word logos used to refer to god is stemmed from logic.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logos

It depends whether you consider morals to be objective or subjective. Objective morality is right or wrong irrelevant of someone's opinion while subjective is by definition are determined by people. So if you do believe in subjective morality then technically the other's person would matter.

Spirits aren't "asexual, disembodied blobs of consciousness" but rather The nonphysical part of a person that is the seat of emotions and character; the soul. I would much rather exist as an entity than cease to exist.
