Is it sad that I had to look up "colander" on Google images just to know what you're talking about?

Perhaps they mean 'I am filled with sorrow.'
"I'm sorry"> "I'm sorrow-y" > "I'm sad about this :("
A real response for this, though... 'Thanks for your compassion.' Maybe?
I am not a linguist, so this is just what I make of it.

If you haven't understood it yet, allow me to explain:
Pyramid sounds like period.
If you don't know a girl's period is, it's okay. You can either Google it, ask your mother, elder sister or any other older female whom you like talking to (perhaps she wouldn't want to tell you yet), or wait until you discover it naturally.

I wasn't so much mad that I didn't get what I wanted. I was more annoyed that my dad, who kept spouting that we didn't have money, spent over $1,000 on his wife and not even 250 on his three kids. Then rambled that it wasn't about the gifts when his wife also spent about $1,000. This is the same man that when it came to my high school graduation, I had to pay for everything, and I didnt get a gift or at least a card, but when my brother graduated he got my brother an expensive laptop. I was more of an honours student than my brother and graduated with scholarships and academic honours. Sorry to rant but I'm tired of being called greedy for expecting someone to do gifts equally. For goodness sake, one of her gifts was a pinky ring... Who wears that but a pimp?!!

House of Anubis is based on a popular Dutch/Belgian show called 'Het huis van Anubis', which started in 2006. Wizards of Waverly Place started in 2007. So, based on this information, you could say that WWP looks like HoA. However, despite similarities, the (original) plots are too different to say that one is "inspired" by another. Don't know about Tower Prep, though.
Sorry if I bored you xD

I think her crush is a great publicity boost, dating that kid. However, her being older than her boyfriend is fine with me. Why should only men be allowed to date younger women?

In case anyone is wondering:
One of the first people who was at the very foundation of the IQ-test as we nowadays know it, was Alfred Binet.
Of course, many other people before and after him contributed to it too, though mainly to research on what intelligence actually is. Here's an overview:
http://www.indiana.edu/~intell/periodIndex.shtml

Intelligence is not, knowing what the answers are to factual questions, but the extent of your ability of solving problems or getting things to the right conclusion, compared to others. ( <- This is my interpretation after all and people are bound to disagree with it. )
So, based on this, I don't know if I can YYA or NO this post...

I respectfully disagree with your comments about how I can't judge since no one else has seriously played Potter. Just because no one else has played a role doesn't mean that I can't tell what's a mediocre performance and what isn't. Following that logic, no one should be able to say that Johnny Depp was a good Jack Sparrow or that Nathan Fillion was a good Captain Reynolds as we have no one to compare them to in those roles. I understand if you like him in the role, that's your opinion, but to say that a performance is impossible to judge unless others have played the same role is just incorrect. However, I do agree that even if I found the next actor's performance better than Radcliffe's, it would still feel awkward to see someone new after 5-6 films with one actor regardless.

OK, you got me there. My achy brain has no response for this, haha! Also you mentioned two of my favourite actors, so you also got me biased into agreeing with you :D
I'm no big fan of Radcliffe, he's OK, though his acting range is rather limited. There have been scenes about which I thought 'Wow!' and scenes about which I thought 'Meh.' I think I remember Radcliffe being chosen for his "stunning eyes" or something. Like when a casting person saw his face, he thought, 'That is Harry Potter!' Perhaps WB put more emphasis on looks than acting talent? Aifinkso.
And a belated Happy New Year to you, (including but not limited to) MrRight!

I like to think that for something that exists forever, a day can be as long as a million years or as short as a second. By that thought, my own, very own lil' thought, the whole 'God created everything in 7 days' is a matter of perspective. Why couldn't a day for God be a couple of million years? I'm not sure where this fits within this evolutionism vs. creationism conflict, but I'm happy with this self-formulated truth.
On another note: Dear reader of this comment, (atheist, theist or agnostic, I don't care) I wish you a (early/belated) Happy New Year!

How would you know? Nobody else has played him in the movies. There would have been a ton of unfavorable comparisons, and whether or not he's a great actor, it would have still ruined the continuation of the movie. One of the coolest things about HP is that the entire cast grows up over the course of the movies. So yeah, he would have been recast, but we don't know there's anyone better than him out there.

(>_>): I hope you don't mind me joining in on this comment thread... D:I agree with >_> - There hasn't been anyone to compare Radcliffe to, so it is not possible to make a statement of Radcliffe acting as HP not well enough.
Though I also agree with MrRight, he is not a great actor. And they WOULD replace him to continue the series, at any cost.
Radcliffe *is* Harry Potter and probably will be, for the rest of his life, whether he likes it or not. That or Mister Horselovin' McNudeyPants. Your pick.

I also agree with Garren_The_Dragon. Though I think if we REALLY needed tails, we would have them. Tails are generally used for balance. Evolutionary speaking (And please no discussions about evolution vs. creationism - I have no opinion about it), humans stopped climbing in trees. We wouldn't need a tail for balance if we were just walking.
HOWEVER... If I had a tail, even just for one day, I would party like a monkey! Poke others with itl and look the other way. Go ape-shit. Carry my stuff with my tail. And also pretend to be a Saiyan. Haha.
