Anyway, glad to see I made it to the top of the "Makes Me Think," list.. Slightly bummed I didn't make the grade for the OP, but hey, at least I made SOMEONE's list- and the top too ;) (Even if it is alphabetical, and I'm not sure WHAT I'm making you think about)..

And to think.. If I hadn't been doing a random, extended, Google search on myself at 2:30 in the morning, I may have never known.

An embryo is a human, and I'm a human and a person. Embryos don't have a life in the context people use "get a life" in. A human like an embryo is alive, but in no way should their rights come before the rights of a person.

(This is in terms that a human being is a cell structure belonging to homosapien and a person is one who has "truly lived.")

Not all abortions are embryos- many are FETUSES with beating hearts, functioning brains & other organs.

Also the argument could be had- THE HOMOSAPIAN is only in POSSESSION OF THE "cell," because it BELONGS to both parents, and could not exist at the exclusive, independent discretion of the one with the "choice," so why should termination be any different?

Hypocritical much? You're being closed minded right now by assuming anyone who doesn't think this is interesting or effective like you do is closed minded. If you'd read the comments, you'd see people have legitimate reasons for not agreeing.

"Right now?" I left my comment a year before you left your reply.

But in all fairness, it has taken me a year to reply to your comment.

Just because you can DEBATE her argument, or don't agree with the stance, does not mean it is ineffectual.

If we pronounce a person dead when their heart stops beating, why are they not ALIVE the moment it starts, and unnecessary abortion considered killing? Oh, wait- it is. Just cause folks wanna try to justify don't make it right.

That's why I always wear arm warmers, long sleeves, and never wear shorts. I don't want people to look at the scars and the healing wounds. I want people to see me for me, and when I get comfortable enough around them, I might get lazy one day, not notice when my arm warmers are slipping, and they might see my scars. If they ask, I'll talk, if not then oh well.

When I cut I do so in private and cover up any possible evidence, but I never clean the wound. It makes it hurt more which I feel I deserve. Usually after I cut I want to ask someone for help, or even during the process I'll think of how much I need someone to help me, but I never do because I'm afraid I'll just be bothering them or they won't believe me, or think I'm just seeking attention. So I'll just stare at my phone thinking "I should text someone" but I don't. That's too attention-seeking for me. Is that actually attention-seeking or is my mind overthinking things?

No.. Get help- nothing wrong with that! But get it from a pro! I wish I saw this sooner but took a LOOONG break from the site. I was trying to get taken away from an abusive home (didn't work) but I sought help with counselors- cutting may put you in control, but eventually it will control you. :/ praying it's gotten better since this post.

I just really like to manage my beliefs. I have fantastical beliefs (that often line up with schizophrenia-type disorders), and for that reason I try to limit my beliefs to things I can see. For example, I am terrified of ghosts, but I refuse to admit to myself that I believe in them because there is no proof they exist. In order to prevent myself from completely losing my mind, I require solid, empirical evidence before I will consider the possibility of believing something.

The story of aliens advancing our technology in exchange for us disarming our nukes seems like a human story, not a realistic story. Mobile phones with cameras may have seemed like "alien technology" back then, but that's nothing now. For aliens to be advanced enough for interstellar travel, even today's technology must be primitive to them. That'd be like me going to a tribe in the wilds of Africa and giving them a fork in an effort to advance their technology. The tribe people might be crapping themselves over this strange invention made of a never before seen material, but it's still nothing special on a grand scale.

Everyone thinks of Aliens as extraterrestrial, but I think that these beings, if they exist- which on some level of reality, even if only subjective, DO exist, have been here for thousands of years, if not longer, and are more extradimensional than than extraterrestrial. Also, the force of a nuclear blast, and it's radiation all escape our atmosphere and travel at high speed force across the universe, it's cruel and devistating- and if they already have the cure for every imaginable disease, and said we can have it as soon as we disband the nuclear programs- ON TOP of modern day technology that was already present in the early 60's? So either Government is FAR more advanced than they disclose much less, (which is true) or Aliens. :)

You know what? I didn't know about the North Korea thing until I found out about it too. Funny how that works.
If you tell the masses the plan of attack then the nation will erupt in total chaos. There is nothing we can do to prepare for a nuclear attack. Sometimes not telling us something is for our own good. We're not entitled to know anything. We're allowed to raise our voices when we feel like we should be let in on something, but the government doesn't owe us information.

Last I checked, This is a government by the people, for the people, and there is a free imformation act- And I may not be able to prepare physically,(ie evacuate, or prepare my home for possible flooding, make sure I tell everyone I love them and I am by my son's side, even if he is at his dad's house..just in case- so, as a person living in a state that has a coastal border, If a bomb is headed my way, I deserve and have the right to know. The people in Pearl Harbor had the right to know before Japan started dropping bombs too. And I don't need a third party deciding my own good- I am a free-thinking person.

I mean, when he first told me about Greys and Reptillians (BEFORE they took over basic cable) and all the different spy capabilities, I warned my shrink that schizophrenia might run in my genetics, but he assured me I showed no signs or symptoms, but the more I research and hear/see stuff like this, the less I worry about it being some kind of genetically transferable psychological disorder.

My biological father came from a family deeply rooted in government, secret service stuff, and even ritualistic abuse, and mk ultra drug control crap, and he told me ALL of this and more about 8 years ago.

His story was: They helped us gain technological advancement in exchange that we would disarm all nuclear weapons on the planet. He said when he was a kid, he went to this technology fair with his mother and saw video phone, and other modern technology. His grandfather was a high ranking Mason, and I'm not sure how he got all hyped up on David Ickes stories between going in and out of prison and living like a mountain man in the wilderness. So- I'm not sure it's Aliens as we perceive them, but I definitely believe the guy in the video was telling the truth- even if it was the 60's and they were probably testing LSD and Acid on him, so who knows what this guy saw. Interesting, and in all lies, there is a source of truth.

We're all aware of what's going on. We just know we can't make a difference in military issues. Social issues are different.

Don't speak for everyone- MANY people are NOT aware. Had I not first been told by text, then accidentally overheard the news, even I would be unaware, which is why I felt the need to post about OTHER current events, involving our national security, are being overlooked or brushed aside because of an argument over social issues that has ALREADY been made, and for now- is ALSO out of your hands. So why remain divided on the issue- why not set aside differences of race, religion, sexual preferences, economics etc- so that we aren't distracted by our differences if the enemy attacks.

Interesting, that News Sources reveal 2/3 of the targets by name, (Hawaii and Guam) but won't disclose who the mainland target is- People have a RIGHT to know if they are in the line of fire, even if there is nothing they can do to prevent it, there is plenty that can do to prepare, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. This isn't the first time our government has ignored a direct warning, and kept important facts from THE PEOPLE, and there IS something we can do that, because instead of things like DOMA going against us, we have the constitution backing us.
