There once was a duck who was uglier than all of the other ducklings, let's call him Phil. Everyday Phil would swim around the pond and everyday the other ducklings would mock him by shouting, "Bat face! Bat face!" They never included him in their games and Phil was more often than not left alone to gaze at his own hideous reflection on the pond's surface. One day as Phil made his rounds of the pond he spotted an eagle on the horizon. "Eagle!" He thought and "Eagle" he cried to the others as he swam over to the group. But they wouldn't listen. "Phil thinks he sees an eagle" they scoffed, and promptly they went back to their duck games. So Phil pecked them and scratched them and shoved them into the underbrush. And just in time, as the last one tumbled into hiding the eagle's shadow passed over top and away again into the distance. "You bully!" Shouted the others. "If you peck us we'll peck you back!" And Phil let them. Because he knew that he was the hero they deserved, but not the one they needed. Because he was a watchful protector, a silent guardian.

A dark knight.

Hahha the first part is so true, but I usually keep liking the music even after i'm over them. One of my ex's from a couple of years ago listened to rock, classic rock, hard rock ect, and today i still love those genres. Same with another ex who liked screamo and metal

BTW- climate change is a much more appropriate term for what's going on, because global warming just sounds cute and cuddly, as if we want it to happen.

Why give a ** about this so called global warming? Well, it's supposed to produce epic droughts, floods, storms, heat waves, cold spells, and other extreme weather events that will ** up the social structure, economy, and our way of life in the coming years. Has there been in increase in events over the years? Well, so far in 2011, the US has had 7 billion dollar disasters already (the record is 9 set in 2008), and we aren't close to the peak of hurricane season yet. Has the world felt effects of global warming yet? Well, rising food prices you hear so much about (caused by floods/droughts in china, russia, australia, pakistan, and the united states) were part of the reason so many people in middle eastern countries revolted this year.

CLIMATOLOGISTS predict what will happen in the next 2, 10, or even next 100 years. They have noticed a large increase in average temperature that looks like it won't stop anytime soon. But of course, it's probably natural. The CO2 **** everyone feeds you is all hype. All it is is a physically proven greenhouse gas that we've spewed a few hundred million years' worth into the atmosphere (/sarcasm).

Students, class is now in session.

METEOROLOGISTS predict what's going to happen the next day. They use sophisticated computer models, years of experience, and even gut feeling to make a forecast. but, weather doesn't care about how good they are. Different weather is caused by tons of factors, and a tiny change in one factor could mean totally different weather. a change in a degree could mean snow instead of rain. a change in the wind direction could mean a temperature of 95, not 85 degrees.
NOTE- the "weathermen" on the TV and radio are usually simply "weather reporters", as in they get a forecast from someone else and just assume said forecast is right. Some actually are educated in weather though, and know what they are talking about.

if you have read the bible, you would know these flaws result from Adam and eve, who corrupted the human race by sinning against God, so no, it's not a mistake. I'm sorry I can't answe your other point.
