About me.
This ued to be my favorite website. Now I barely feel welcomed here. Funny how things work out.

I am 17 years old.

My favorite color is purple.

I am more eloquent in writing than I am in speech.

I think that if I were pretty, I would look kind of like Rapunzel from Tangled (pre-haircut).

I am a grammar nerd.

Hit me up, .

My life and ambitions.
I practice the religion of Unitarian-Universalism. I mention it because I had to choose "Other" as my religion, so I thought it best to elaborate.

I have had three of my poems published in poem compilations (in book form) by the World Poetry Movement. You can find those books in the Library of Congress.

I aim to be a journalist as an adult. I will major in Journalism in college next year.

A brief history of my life.
I was born in a log cabin on a mountainside near the East coast of the United States on a cold autumn morning of the year 1995. My mother was a seamstress, and my father was a factory worker. They salvaged what little money they had to buy me food and clothes. I turned out to be a genius, and I graduated from college at the age of 12. It was at that point that I bid my parents adieu and set out for an adventure in China. Unfortunately, I had no money, and no other way of getting to China, and so I walked to California and then swam across the Pacific Ocean. Although I had been trained in neither Mandarin nor Cantonese, I quickly picked up the local language and lived there for four years in a small apartment with my 13 roommates. We all worked together as baristas in the coffee shop below our apartment, but I always received the most tips, and so I quickly became a millionaire. Last year, I put my millions in Ziplock bags and swam back to the United States just for the exercise. Upon my return, I sprinted back home. I will never forget those first words my mother said to me: "Ew, go take a shower." To this day, I am still living in my mother's house.

The things I could never live without.
I couldn't live without air, water, and shelter.

Also, I really enjoy having some way to write (physical or digital), my phone, money, my iPod, my boyfriend, my close friends, my boyfriend's sweatshirt that I stole from him, and Teddy, the teddy bear I've had since I was two.

My favourite books, TV, music, movies and food.
I love Lemony Snicket, Jordan Sonnenblick, and Meg Cabot. I love The Claidi Journals series by Tanith Lee, and a series-type group of four books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (it's about vampires, mostly). I also love M or F? by Lisa Papademetriou and Chris Tebbetts, The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, and A Corner of the Universe by Ann M. Martin.

As for TV, I quite enjoy Modern Family, Two Broke Girls, The Big Bang Theory, and other such sitcoms. I also like Jeopardy, Grimm, and Supernatural in the category of non-sitcoms, but I'm not caught up with Supernatural, so no spoilers, please!

My favorite band is Fall Out Boy, AND THEY ARE BACK OH MY GOD I AM SO HAPPY YAYAYAYAY FANGASM OH MY GOD!!!!! I also adore P!nk, Avril Lavigne, The All-American Rejects, 3OH!3, Green Day, Ke$ha, A.F.I., OK Go, Foster The People, Panic! At The Disco, Led Zeppelin, and many, many more. My "jams," as the kids like to call it, include "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mi-A-Lot, "Fergalicious" by Fergie, "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, "Sleazy" by Ke$ha, "Shots" by LMFAO, and several others which I can't think of right now. Yes, I enjoy almost every genre of music, excluding opera, jazz, and classical.

My favorite movies include Peter Pan (live-action, not Disney cartoon), Mean Girls, The Full Monty, The Pirates of the Caribbean series, Lilo & Stitch, The Princess Bride, Treasure Planet, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and quite a lot of recently made superhero movies.

My favorite foods are pizza, popcorn, and chocolate, although not together.

My favorite comedians are Bo Burnham, Daniel Tosh, Christian Finnegan, Craig Ferguson, Dan Cummins, Danny Glover, and John Mulaney. I love their stand-up, but there are also other comedic writers whom I love, so that's not really a complete list.

The coolest places I've visited.
I visited Italy for about a week during February of 2011. It was really awesome. I went with my Latin class, so we went to a lot of ancient ruins and such. I also got to experience Carnivale, which was super cool.

I've also been to Jamaica. That was really relaxing. I went for about a week during April of 2008 or 2009 (I can't remember which).

In my free time I like to...
I love to write. It's what I want to do with my life. I like writing poetry and stories best. I also enjoy drawing. I'm not nearly as good at drawing as I am at writing, though. I like to dance, and I'd like to think I'm not that bad at it. I also like playing board games, card games, video games and other such games. My favorites include Cards Against Humanity, Dominion, Dungeons & Dragons, Apples to Apples, Balderdash, Pictionary, Twister, BS, and multiple video games.

Favourite Quotes
"First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out because I was not a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me."

You should send me a message if you..
Please, feel free to send me a message. I enjoy talking to random strangers quite a bit. I should warn you, though, that my messages are not private. I think that you shouldn't tell me anything that you aren't okay with other people reading, because I am, after all, a stranger on the Internet.

Many people find my religion, UUism, interesting and even appealing, so if you would like to learn more about it, feel free to message me, and I will answer your questions to the best of my ability.

Also, if you're going to message me, please refrain from using words like "f-a-g-g-o-t" and "d-y-k-e," and phrases like, "That's gay." Here's why:
Those words are reminders for me. A lot of the people I love belong to the LGBTQ community. Those words remind me that there are people out there (hell, entire organizations) who will use those words to describe people and then beat them to death. It's a really terrifying thought for me. So, please, when you write to me, do not use words like that. It makes me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable when people do. I don't care if you don't mean it in a threatening way, if you think I'm too sensitive, if you say it all the time and other people don't mind, if you belong to the LGBTQ community, if those words don't bother you, or any other excuse you can think of for using them. If you can't control yourself enough to not say them, then I don't think I especially want to converse with you.
Thank you for being considerate.

But overall, I think God does it to help us ya know? Nowadays there are so many unwanted pregnancies and STDs. It could've all been prevented or at least lessened if sex was saved for marriage. I think that's crazy to think about. But then again, there's always divorce, not that that's part of God's plan for us either.

Basically, I think sex is only harmful to a relationship outside of marriage. It hasn't benefited mine in any way. It'll only do me harm if I keep partaking in it, and I realized that luckily before I ended up getting pregnant or something haha

I completely agree. I'm at that point where I don't see why marriage is a necessity either. It can be frustrating when everyone tells me it's wrong when I'm in love with a person. But for now, I'm trusting that God has made me feel guilty about it for some reason. I'm not planning on having sex again until I'm married, just because I know that that's how God designed it for me.

I think it does make it more special when you wait until marriage. I'm sad that I'll never get to experience what it feels like to wait so long to share that gift with my husband on my wedding night.

I've never really understood that much either, but I've come to understand that it's just what God believes is best for people in general. With sex only in a monogamous marriage, there's no chance of unwanted pregnancy, widespread STDs, or as much heartache. To be quite honest with you, I haven't stuck to it myself. But the guilt I felt after engaging in premarital sex lets me truly know that it's not what sex was meant for. I believe God gave sex to us as a gift for the purpose to feel more like Him in a way. We give, take, and create at the same time, which is truly amazing. Sex just doesn't reach it's full purpose when it's done outside of marriage

Yes? You should give it a taste, it's actually quite good. It's like a chocolate milkshake without the chocolate milkshake. So it's nothing like a chocolate milkshake. Chocolate milkshake.

I want to ** in your ** and then sip it out with a straw.

It's inevitable to avoid them. Jk.
