Tutors are worthless if you can't do the spelling on your own. Yes, they teach you but it still depends upon you to do the spelling correctly.

To the point, yes tutors can only do so much, it comes down to the person or system in the end.

I've had problems tutors could easily fix, and problems that they never could fix.

Right. I just don't know what to believe in. I've been uncertain about most of reality for a while.

Good tutors can help the person learn how to break down words so they understand how they can figure out how to spell the word.
I do it all the time for kids that just need to learn how to think about the words.

Having one-on-one tutoring makes all the difference for many people .... including the ability to spell properly. Some of the most brilliant minds in history have had problems like dyslexia. They simply need a different approach to learning.

Yeah, I've thought about that, but I got his number from a friend and have been texting him, and he's replied. Lots of time, and has no idea that it's me.

If you want to see an example of hypocrisy, then watch most any politician.

"When my party does — (fill in the blank), it's fine. When the other party does the same thing, it's terrible."

So often, I will ask for someone to cite their source when they make a claim. When they tell me to look it up, their credibility has gone to zero.

Way to much hypocrisy is our society, and the sad thing is, most people don't see it when they are being hypocrites simply because they don't want to see it.
As for the other comment, sometimes I have found that some people are simply to lazy to look something up themselves, and want the other person to do it for them.

A hypocrite is usually a back stabber, says what they think someone wants to hear, and they do just the opposite. Example: Someone who disses those on the HOF board and makes insinuating comments about them, when in reality they are jealous of those that are there and they would do anything to be there themselves. I find that hilarious. lol
