They Might Be Giants is a weirdly appealing band to me. There's just something about someone singing about how youth culture prompted his dog to kill itself, or that he's impressed "when the torpedo in the vest barks his orders". I am the type of person to believe everything happens for a reason. Not for divine reasons, though.
