So on that episode of Spongebob when Spongebob and Patrick spent the whole day in the empty box and Squidward was jealous, it was really just saying Spongebob and Patrick can get some pussy but Squidward can't?

Oh Nickelodeon, you so sneaky!

This is absolutely horrible. No, I don’t mind the first part even though it’s horribly stereotypical.

The second part though. Just because a woman is overweight doesn’t mean she’s less likely to be raped. That’s like people saying people saying provocative clothing is more likely to cause rape. No. People wanting to rape people is more likely to cause rape. Appearances and mannerisms aren’t part of someone’s likelihood of being raped. Anyone. Anyone of any race and any gender and any body type can say, “no.” Looking like anything doesn’t cause or not cause rape. Rapist **** cause rape.

That is all.

I don't read by reading. I read because I remember what words look like. That's why spelling and proper grammar are so important to me, I hate having to waste time by actually reading.

That's actually how most people read. The mechanics of how we read are fascinating, really.

For example, not only do we recognize the shape of the word, we also recognize familiar sentence structures. In other words, we have an internal catalogue of what words usually follow certain other words. That would explain why reading uncommon or archaic sentences (such as Shakespeare's works) will sometimes trip us up, even if the spelling is all correct. It's because we're expecting certain words, but reading others. This discrepancy is what causes a person who has mostly read contemporary works to stumble over older ones, even if said person is usually a fluent reader.
