Is being passive aggressive your "thing"? (wary)

No, according to real life and experts. My health insurance premium has already increased by almost 300% (individual) since the passing of the Act. It is expected to increase an ADDITIONAL 116% in 2014.

um no they aren't?...have you met "most" girls? no you have not. I understand some girls AND boys are like that but you can't say 99.99% of a certain gender is like that. That just makes you look stupid.

why are you acting like most girls are like this? there are plenty of girls that have self esteem issues or don't think highly of themselves. way to generalize

A lot of people buy beyond their means, but that doesn't mean everyone does. Example: If one person among ten buys 3x as much stuff as each of the other 9, that is going to skew the numbers.

It also depends on what kind of stores you're talking about. A lot don't turn a profit - many just break even. They don't take all your cash at the register. There are taxes to pay, leases to pay, logistics to pay, merchandise to buy and fill their shelves, employees to pay, etc.

Your post could easily be applied anywhere around the world.

Prison would be more stressful and dangerous. And cost us more to house them. That, and I used to work at a homeless shelter/crises center - many aren't really interested in "help" beyond the basics and are pretty content with their situation. Not everyone wants to be "saved."

I met a guy once whose breath was horrific, but I played nice. It literally made me sick for the following three days.

Another guy at a club nearly made me vomit because his breath was horrid. I wound up making a face and gagging before I could catch myself. He got the idea.

Ha.

Security questions, or look at your statement online. Duh. It's not difficult. They don't ask you for the account number if the card is obviously not in your possession. I've lost my cards like 3 times (drunk. Ha).

Yep, the one time I did say who it was, the person I was talking to started saying "Eww! Really? He's SUCH an uggie though!" (And yes, that is the way she speaks.) Oddly enough, the feature she thought was the most "eww worthy" was part of the reason I think the guy is attractive.

I gotta admit, I'm guilty of the last thing too. I start reading a book in a bookstore, then memorise the page number (as opposed to folding something I don't own) and come back another day to finish it.

Though in my defence, I do buy a hell of a lot of books/DVDs from that particular store.

I always do this.

Most bookstores have armchairs and coffee machines now. I dunno if they really planned on someone like me going in and reading for hours when they put them in, though.

Yeah. I always buy the book and get out.

I was looking for a book on urban planning (for pleasure), and some people were sitting on the floor with their cups of coffee, blocking the shelves so I had to reach over them to pull books because they wouldn't move. It was like walking on eggshells in the entire store - people like that were everywhere. And of course, they didn't buy anything, just bent the page they left off on and put it back on the shelf to continue the next time they walk in.
