Acquisition of a first language is genetically-triggered at the most critical stage of cognitive development. The difficulty of learning a second language is not HOW it is taught, it's WHEN.

Yeah, and also when you learn your first language you hear it everywhere: on television, from those around you like your family, and eventually at school. When you learn a language at school you only hear it in that class basically so it's normal to learn the basics first, even though it's true it does seem inefficient as after years of learning a language at school you're still not very good at it lol. And what you learn in class won't help you much when you go to that country haha.

It depends what you mean haha, if it's experience as in I wear my pants low, no, but if it's experience as in I have noticed, then yes :]

Sure, but somethings are really **** up, there are some tests that just should not be done, be it on animals or humans. And the only reason we test on animals and not humans is because animals can't sue. And though humans and animals have basics that are alike, we aren't automatically going to have the same reactions as them to certain medications etc. Idk, I'm still against animal testing for the most part.

Actually I have a good feeling I'm going to hell but who knows?
If anyone is hiding it's the atheists. They know they have committed sins and are afraid of the afterlife. While Theists, even those of us who committed sins are ready for the next life.

1) Majority of religions don't promise an after-life.
2) Atheists fear death just as much as the next person. You think Atheists are stronger willed in that they are not afraid of death. Everyone is afraid of death it's something all humans have in common.
3) Before you call your self an Atheist, make sure you look at more than the basic monotheistic faiths.

A. Your ignorance is bliss
B. The only people that gave you thumbs up were Atheists.
C. Even fellow Atheists thumbed you down because you make the rest of them look bad.

All I'm saying is that the Flintstones are not from "our time". Plus the band aids and cereal keep that rocky spirit alive in our hearts :) (corny, I know)

You do know that the Flintstones are actually from the early 1960s right? I was watching an episode the other day and it was dated 1962.

Yeah but they were on all the time when we were young. Sure some shows, like the flintstones, weren't created during our childhood, but they were always on tv. And they were good. :D

Well I'm all for it. I'm on the receiving end of what adultery can do to a family. It's not fun.

Same here, but it's life and I got over it, a lot of people do it, even if they are committed. Sometimes the temptation is just too much. But, of course, i'm not okay with people having like two girlfriends or crap like that, that's just messed up. And making it illegal would be dumb personnally.

Which is sad, the Flintstones and all those other cartoons from our time were the best and will stay the best.
