Isn't that why anyone votes for Hitler?
Hitler's whole campaign promise was that he would create a world solely of Aryans. And his followers must believe in the supremacy of the Aryan race...

that wasn't his only promise; Hitler also promised to reduce unemployment, help build up the economy, basically bring Germany out of the dire state it was in. It wasn't until later when Germany was ruled a one-party state and people didn't have any choice that he fully let out his racial policies. People didn't vote for him on the basis that he would create an Aryan-only world. That was only part of his propaganda. His racial policies that the public was aware of didn't come into play until well after his dictatorship had been established.

My last name is 6 letters long and only has one vowel. I couldn't even begin to pronounce it phonetically. Damn you Slavic heritage.

people have the opposite problem with my first name, four vowels & one consonant. It's always interesting hearing people's attempts at pronouncing it.

Yeah there's a definite difference. The book Freakonomics devotes a full chapter to the names of different cultures. There is also a substantial difference between the names of people of upper and lower class backgrounds.

"Why, at the end of this experiment, is the volume of water in the test tube greater than it was at the beginning?" A friend of mine wrote "global warming."

That happened to me with a boy in one of my classes a few years ago, when I was going through a not-so-pretty phase haha. But then I grew out of it and a few months ago, he tried to kiss me at a party. No chance :)

It's their attitude more than anything that makes them hot.

The only book I have ever cried at is Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman. That was seriously sad.

Meg Cabot has a book that tells the point of view of a popular, hot girl who is cheating on her boyfriend. I thought I was going to hate the main character when I started reading it, but she ended up not being too bad. I bet it would be the same way if there was a show with a bully as the main character. It's kind of like how people always think they themselves are in the right.

I saw the dell one where they sing 'lollipop' when I was on holiday in america and loved it. But then I saw it a few months later here and it was just 'meh'.

Btw, I think the chuck testa ad is one of the best ones I have ever seen.
