Ahh the point of this wasn't to be mean, I was only referring to very skimpy clothes and very large people. I'm not skinny myself, and there are clothes that I would never dream of going out in public in, even if they come in my size.
I also meant to say large, but I didn't think of that until after it was too late to change it.

Also, "It was America who gives the oil companies big tax breaks..."
Tax breaks have nothing to do with it. Let me break it down for you: The oil companies are greedy. They don't want to spend money on safety precautions. They break the law. Disaster happens ACCIDENTALLY (and do you REALLY think it's Americans who work on the rig? Like honestly?). There are no safety precautions. Oil spreads everywhere instead of being contained.

You can't even blame the spill (or spread) on the American people. You can blame it on a few Americans if you want to but not all of us.

Also Beb: Yeah but it's owned by America.

...regulations because these are controlled primarily by CORPORATIONS, not our actual government. This is the fault of the oil companies from skimping on the disaster prevention technology that was REQUIRED BY LAW. This is NOT the fault of the American people and it is offensive of you to say so. I am usually the first to admit that we are not a perfect country but to blame this on us and say we deserve it for everything else we've done is too **** much. PLEASE get educated, for the God's sake.

So I allowed the wars to happen? My parents, friends, relatives allowed them to happen? Your argument would make sense if we were a one-party country, like China or something, but we're not. We're divided. Also, the oil spill is affecting everyone. You're saying everyone has to pay for what you claim are America's mistakes?
This entire argument is bull. This oil spill is the fault of VARIOUS people, various countries. It is not, for example, my fault. Just because I am American does not mean that I deserve this. This oil spill hurts everyone, all over the world, humans, animals, plants, EVERYONE. There is no way you can justify having a tragedy like this.
You cannot place all the blame for something like this on one entire ** country. Why don't you do some research and find out who's fault it is DIRECTLY, because we as a people have NO say in the regulations that would have prevented it from getting so bad. We didn't even put the people into ** power who DO make the...

Yeah, because your American comment isn't offensive to Americans at all.
I'd say the Holocaust was pretty much equally evil to the whole oil spill thing. Just saying.
BUT WAIT! I'm not blaming it on the people! That's the difference. The American people are mostly innocent in all of this. The German people were mostly innocent in all of that. There were a FEW PEOPLE in both situations that were the cause of the entire thing.
Blame those who were actually responsible. DO NOT blame the entire country, because I, as an American teenager who had absolutely NOTHING to do with this oil spill, find your ridiculous, uneducated comment extremely offensive.

I don't think you understand how American politics work. No American VOTED to go to war. We voted in a President who manipulated and fed on the fuels of our fears after 9/11 to start a war. We didn't go to a booth and check yes or no about whether we wanted to go to war with Iraq and Afghanistan. And if you think that's how it happened than your opinions are moot because you're too dumb to even consider listening to.

(Who's tough now): It's not letting me reply to you directly for whatever reason.
First off, the point of the Germany comment isn't to be like you and make some wild, generalized statement. It was to basically point out that you're a narrow-minded hypocrite.
Presidents CAN do things they didn't necessarily share with us during their campaign, and they never make EVERYONE happy.
"It's payback for all the shit Americans caused in the rest of the world." Yeah... sounds like you have NOTHING against America.
The point is, this is a ridiculous generalization that blames one country for something that was caused by the whole world. Wherever you're from, your country is NOT perfect and there's no way you can say they're blameless in this or countless other things that I'm sure they've done. Every country has done things, but if I were to use one as an example, and take some global catastrophe and say "you deserve this, it's karma", you'd flip a **** too.

You seem to have a very narrow view of events. These things affect everyone, and the entire WORLD contributes to things like this. Are you saying that you don't benefit AT ALL from oil? To make a blanket statement that it's the fault of "Americans" is ignorant. We as a people have not caused this. We don't make regulations, we have essentially no say over what regulations do and don't happen. We aren't even really a democracy. War can be declared without any consent from anyone in the country. ALSO, the president DOES NOT necessarily reflect who the majority of the country voted for. There are also the electoral votes, which are by state. Presidents who have the majority of the populations vote often lose because of electoral votes. Please learn about our how our government works before making uneducated assumptions.
Watch, I bet you're from Germany or some shit. Regardless of where your from, though, you're a hypocrite. No country has been completely blameless.

I want to write some long tirade about how ridiculous this is, but that would just be waste of my time. Everyone else has done a pretty good job already.

Wow I don't even understand how people can disagree with this. They're basically saying they don't want to choose what happens to their own body. And, by the way, saying you don't want to have the choice to make decisions concerning your own body implies that you can't make the decision whether or not to have decisions made about your own body. Therefore, you have no say about having a say in what happens to you.

You're a ****. Those are the beliefs held by Christians. The bible is the literal word of God, written by man. But it's still the word of God.

Neither God nor Jesus has ever shown up and said "Hey, the Bible is word of God", therefore you cannot say that "according to God and Jesus, the Bible is the word of God." God does not communicate verbally with man. God did not dictate the Bible, especially seeing as it was written and rewritten by multiple people, multiple times. The Bible is the word of humans. More religious (and non-religious, because they often look just as ridiculous as people like you) people need to study these texts from a factual, UNBIASED point of view, otherwise they'll just continue to spew the garbage dictated to them.
