The post is asking about the worst pain YOU have experienced, and Im sure the majority of users havent gone through childbirth or experienced any of the other painful stuff. Maybe the reason period cramps has so many votes is because almost every girl experiences it, not due to some "moral obligation to our gender".

I agree, but every time I've come home in a terrible mood, and everytime I've cried in a bathroom stall has been because of a teacher. so I figured since they seem to do more harm that good, we might as well get rid of them all.

Daisy Buchanan.
My English teacher actually accused me of just pretending to like her to seem special.

When I told my friends I didn't want to see magic mike they all gasped at me... One actually said I cannot be your friend anymore like it was that serious. I just don't think Channing Tatum isn't cute.

I'm not sure if OP means directly involved men like fathers, or just men in general. I voted YYA, because I always felt like women issues should only be determined by women, like on a state level I mean, for legislation and stuff. But of course a fathers get to have an opinion.

They're usually most intense when I'm alone and not really doing anything except trying to go to sleep. I end up all turned on and it's just annoying.

But for some reason I have the most intense fantasies during exams, which means I can't concentrate on anything.

Really? I think it's the most comfortable time to have sexual fantasies. You know, as opposed to funerals, and interviews and exams and such.

It's ironic how the Western media have gone to lengths to portray the Hijab as a symbol of oppression but now suddenly that topless pictures of Kate Middleton have been exposed, it's considered a sign of modesty and innocence, amirite?

When Kate Middleton visited a Mosque in Malaysia, she wore a headscarf (or Hijab) as a sign of respect for their culture.
Newspapers and magazines defending her in terms of the topless photo scandal, chose these pictures of her to portray how "modest" she is, which is ironic since Hijabs and other aspects of Muslim culture have always been portrayed as "oppressive".

If you find someone that's in it for the long run with you, hopefully they'll change and develop at the same speed as you as you experience things together.

That sounds kinda comforting. But people can change at the same speed but in different directions, fostering different interests and just ending up totally different people.

It's even scarier cause people change. I'm not the same person I was a year ago, so my idea of perfect isn't what it was a year ago.
So what happens if I DO find someone I'm compatible with in humor, intelligence, morals, and then all my ideas and morals change and I'm stuck with a person who has a completely different outlook on life?

I sure hope so, tomorrow is gonna be my first day as an IB student and everyone is already encouraging me to drop.
Even the teachers are like "If you don't think you can endure a lot of stress, then IB is not for you, and I suggest you drop while you still can"
So I'm really stressed right now...

There are scholarships for women, and I think they're really great. Most of them are aimed at majors which are dominated by men, so all they do is encourage women to pursue majors so they won't remain underrepresented. Whenever I tell people that I want to become a mechanical engineer, I always get told "Maybe you should consider something more feminine". And it's not because they're sexist, it's because they know I'll feel out of place in a male-dominated profession, but maybe with those evil sexist scholarships that can eventually change.

I agree with what your saying, and ya the war on terror is shit as we all know, but so then what, we let the radicals run free being radicals? They'll still do horrible things whether we provoke them or not. How do we stop them is what I'm trying to say. War doesn't help, but neither does ignoring them.

I think the amount of people who do horrible things either way are much less than those who only hurt people when they're super offended. I'm not saying one is right, they're both wrong but like... I don't know, I don't know how we can stop them.

And saying that "the rest of the world needs to stop comforting them and stop them from comitting pointless and stupid murders", sounds like your advocating foreign intervention or "the war on terror" which we all know is seriously counterproductive

But this isn't about not hurting their feelings, it's about avoiding a conflict and possible deaths, especially when several societies have been known to get violent when the things they hold dearest are insulted...

My parents are divorced, and each of my mom's three siblings has been divorced. Personally, I'm too scared to get married. I'm going to have kids, and I'm going to have a relationship, but I'm not getting married. If I do, it will be after we go through living together, moving, raising kids, possibly financial difficulty (if it happens), because I don't want to marry someone until I know we won't get divorced. I don't care about taxes, insurance, having "****" kids. I really don't. I would rather be able to say that I never got divorced.

But that's not very useful, if you're having kids, and being serious and sharing finances, then you have just as much to lose. The terrible thing about getting a divorce isn't saying "I'm divorced", it's fighting for custody and splitting property and the emotional pain of falling out of love.
