No, problem. It definitely is American. Rosa Parks was a black woman who sat in the front of the bus when at the time those seats were reserved for whites. she was tired and refused to move and was arrested. That's why is it would be clever to say "Rosa Parks" to override somebody's shot gun. I thought it was a jerk move for him to feed you a fake explanation. He was just trying to be funny, though.

You do know what that guy told you about Rosa Parks and the whole shotgun thing was not true, amirite? Maybe it's an American thing, and I see you're from Australia. I thought maybe you were humoring him?

yeah, I mean, I don't live at the beach, but it's not too hard to get to one, and we have really nice beaches in Australia, so I'm pretty lucky.

Yeah, it's kind of funny how people want to move to the beach, but I reckon if you lives there you'd get over it.
Yeah! Some Christmases are actually really cold, which is so bizarre :L

Yeah, I went to Bar Beach (I think that's what it's called....) and it was sooo nice!

UGHH im v annoyed right now. im rightt at the end of an epic LoTR marathon, as in, i watched the wholeee 3 movies, start to finish, and now im in the last like half hour of the 3rd movie AND IT KEEPS FREEZING!!!!!!!! i mean ive seen it like a million times already so i know what happens but like thats just so not the point hahaha...it's irrationally frustrating.

ohh for the last one i wanted to see how many pages there were so i flipped to the back page to check the page number and i saw like part of a sentence, saying something about what Harry and Ginny were doing and i was like CRAPPPP :( cuz i knew i'd just ruined it for myself, like the whole part when he like died, i knew he wasnt dead

I haven't watched any of season 2 of Glee either, cuz I'm waiting...but there's SO much hype around Glee that I pretty much know what happens anyway because of the internet and stuff :(

Good good. I HATE knowing spoilers!!!! I think it's because my brother used to always do his best to spoil stuff for me. My entire childhood every time a new Harry Potter book came out my mum would have to buy 2 copies because otherwise whoever read it first would ALWAYS spoil it for the other, and then we would like sit there and read as fast as we could so that we could finish before the other one did...yeah we were cool kids :D
