I've explained this so many times. First off, Christmas originated from
A pagan holiday. Second, Christmas is mostly a secular holiday now, anyway. Third, why shouldn't I be allowed to enjoy a holdiay just because I don't believe in what it's suppose to be celebrating? You don't believe in santa, but you probably have a santa decoration or two. Why? Fourth, Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. If Christmas was really about Jesus you wouldn't need presents or santa or any of that, just a church service and a prayer. I celebrate Christmas because it's fun. It's a time of year when I can enjoy myself with presents, parties, food, lights, cheery music. My Christmas celebrations have nothing to do with religion, why do you have a problem with that? It's not hurting anyone. I'm not disrespecting anyone. So why don't you just leave me alone and let me do what I want? Oh, how brilliant of you to point out that the name Christ appears in the word Christmas. You wanna know where Christmas came from? Saturnalia.
