well if the government wasn't screwing everyone over with the money they took from people, people would have the money in the first place.
and at least put it to something useful like healthcare or something.
oh and if you do have free healthcare, the government does donate a certain amount of money to third world countries.

I found out the other day that the town south park is based off (also called south park) of is like two hours away from my house! Its int he rocky mountains though and we went up during August and it was still like 60 degrees out! SO no, i really think no summer exists in South Park... :)

Eh. It's just a hunk of land the size of an atom compared to the size of the universe. It's incredibly unimportant. You can be proud of what your country accomplishes, but I mean in the end it really doesn't matter.

Besides, sure we are just a bit of land in the great scheme of things, but its like a sports team or something. We do better when we work together. Of course it matters. Maybe if we have more concern for "lesser" creatures than ourselves, we will learn to love other humans more.
I totally understand what you are saying; I'm not saying that if my best friend was sick I would say no to animal testing. I just hate it when people think that humans are so much better than animals - therefore we can domesticate them, test and torture them, and force them into factory farms. I'm not saying that an animal's life is worth more than a human life, but it's not necessarily less either. I think we need to respect other species and while we may be the more advanced, it doesn't necessarily make us God when it comes to deciding what is right with other animals. Take breeding puppies - humans artificially select which ones to breed just to make them prettier for us to keep as pets. That's just wrong. We have no right to go around enslaving other species just because we can and because it is more convenient for us.

Well... I agree with the first part I guess. i don't think humans should be able to treat tham badly, like troture tham and put them in the awful fatory farms. I do think though that hmans are better than other animals. but that does not give us a right to treat tham badly. What I mean is, we have to face the reality that humans are more advanced and complexly built with more complex emotions and feelings and understanding of concepts. That is why we are the dominent species on the planet. And scientificaly speaking, we are better than other animals. But like you siad we can not treat tham badly. It's like "with great power comes great responsibility" or watever. And the breedign thing is very differnt. If it dose not hurt or harm the animal, why can't we breed. I see your point, but dogs really do not care who they breed with like humans do. They don't understand the concept of an "arranged marrige". It dosnt bother them or harm them so why should it matter?

Just because we're at the top of the food chain doesn't mean we're "better" than another creature. Being more advanced isn't necessarily better, it just means we have more technology. Btw, you have you ever research elephants? They emotions just as complex as humans.
And, sure, you make humans the priority...who wouldn't chose to save their mom or friend over a centipede? I still don't agree that a humans are so much better than animals.

I didn't say we need to just go killing animals all the time, but i don't think it is ethical to save more animals than humans.Sure there need to be efforts to save animals and stop animal crualty, but it just makes sense and is natural to save humans more. I mean, yeah, I know anyone would save thier mother over an animal, but i think we should have the same compasion for a homless child or starving man. Everyone always complains about wars (usually the same people who are more for animal rights) but how can we be expected to all get along if we are mor comcerned about the elephant in the forest than the well being of other humans. Does tha make sense? it's kinda hard to explain. And here i thought it was just common sense to save your fellow human....

I'm aware of the brain structure, and I see what you're saying, but I still am not sure if an elk life is worth more than a human life.
To us, a family member's life would be worth more than an elk's, but to a baby elk, the life of their mother or father would be worth more than a human's life. It really depends who you're asking.

Well... simce we can't ask an elk (because they are not as advanced as us) i think we need to save humans first. True, an elk will miss it's mother, but when any animal (with the exaption of a few animals) they leave thier mother aand really never see them again. Not the case with hum,ans. And anyway how can you say any animal might be worth more than a human life? At this point in time, humans are the dominent creater and we need to save within our own species regardless. Sure I feel really sad when i see animals sufering and i do what i can to help them, but i always make humans the priority beauce that is what is natural and right.

Doesn't "universal healthcare" mean that everyone pays for healthcare with their taxes, and everyone doesn't get individually charged for their own healthcare? I don't know, that's just what I think it means.
If so, then that seems fair to me. It's not that you (or anyone) are directly paying for some specific other random person to get some specific thing, it's more like everyone's paying a little bit, so everyone doesn't have to pay a big amount. You'd probably be glad of universal healthcare if you needed surgery or something, and it meant that you didn't have to pay for it.
Of course, I could just be grossly misunderstanding how it works. :P If I am, please correct me.

I oppose what has been come to know as "Obamacare" the mai principle of the law is that you buy government health care or you go to jail or pay a HUGE fine. Thats because he was telling this to people from a very long ime ago. Like, a very very long time ago. Back then they could not comprehend the existemce of such small life. God never gives you more than you can handle, and the anchient jews could not handle that knowledge yet. So God put it in terms we could understand. Not everything is litteral you know. and the Jewish people belive in the old testement too.

We are yes. But we have a higher brain capacity. That is to say< our brains are more advanced and therefor we can have complex emotions and can creat and produce. That makes us more advanced. Besides, elk save other elk before they would save a chipmunk. it just makes sense to save humans before other amimals. ESPECCIALLY is those humans are kids.

I watch movies on factory farming and what not, but honestly? i understand they are in awful shape and i donate money and stuff to help that cuase, but I alway make sure to donate more time and money to organisations that save kids with desieses in Africa, and earthquake victims in hatit. Humans need to come before animals. it is unethical to care more aboutanimals hat your own sister or brother human.

And I'm not even done yet! What right does the government have to interfere with private bissnuses/insurance companies? Them interfereing is also a step towards Liberalism or communism. And no, it's not just because obama suggusted it that i oppose it, i would oppose it even if bush suggested it. it's a silly idea. And Obama and the democrats knew that! They where gonna try to ram it through and pass it because they knew it had no chance if they did it correctly. Now all those states are sueing becuase they know it's wrong also. I'll tell you. obamacare takes awary our right to do what we want with out rmoney. Yes i relize that taxes are necessary to a funtioning society and we should have taxes. But we should not be forced to pay for others medical bills. I should not have to pay for a druggies rehabilitation. Yes, i know there are ssome good people our there who get in to acciedents but we should be ale to chose wethere or not we help them and I garentee you a chruch or some kind hearted person will help. But we should never be forced to give our money to the governmet outside of taxes. It the same as if i studied really hard for a test and I got an A, but someone eles got a C and the teacher says "oh! Billy got a C thats so sad! We are gonna have to take some of your A and give it to Billy!" so now we both have B's. how is that fair? It is also uncontitutional because you can get punished for not paying for government health care. Communist anyone?

The entire Bible is a contradiction. It contradicts everything it contains. The Bible says that there really is no excuse for people to look at life and not give credit to God. (Romans 1:20) The Bible doesn't support that God used evolution because it says that he created things according to their kind. (Gen 1:24, 25).
The Bible also says that your superhuman created the world in 6 days, not 4.5 billion years.

I belive that God created the first bactieria or watever and he created it according to it's kind, but he left the world to do as it wished and they evolved in to the elephants and such that we know today. Actually I'm glad you said that. Chatholics (and i think mabey all Christians but Im not positive) belive that there is some truth in every religion and that every religion is some small part of what God tells us, but this is the one that we think covers almost everything. There is also a story in the Bible that tells us that if you live accroding to God's word even if you are not Chrisitan you will go to hevean. in other words if you worship God in his other names. So we absolutaly don't belive that you are danmed if you don't belive in our God. i hate how some people think that, but they don't acttaly know what we belive, they just take the mainstream media's word for it. So with that said, you are agnostic right? Have you learned about other religions or...?
