this is gonna depend on culture
there are numerous places where men hold hands and openly show affection between friends, relatives, etc.
in those cultures
physical affection between men is the same as physical affection between women
where I come from
men skip together
hold hands
etc.
it's just the norm
I watched a documentary that said that even in a place where this isn't the norm
It used to be the norm at one point in time
something happened that changed this view over time

I think the people voting it down are either too ignorant to understand it; or are uber religious and onky know it as the "God" particle and voting it down due to that.

I could probably invent x-ray vision, commit the perfect crime, invent time travel, invent an immortality pill, invent some kind of flying device, etc with that kind of intelligence (all of which would probably lead to wealth). I would just hope that such a high IQ would not affect my social capabilities, which is very important alongside brains.

Ive noticed as I get older its hard to remember the emotions you feel as a kid and how everything seems much more intense. So as an adult when a teenager freaks about because "its the end of the world" it seems silly now.

I agree - it was a play on "privates" the standard rank for combat units and the old idiom that women hate getting sand in their ****. But you are right that any person (male or female) in a leadership role probably does not have a problem sending privates, corporals, sergeants - whoever, into war - I would like to think women leaders would be more compasionate - but I doubt it.
