One time, when I missed school freshman year, there was a power outage and they let everyone leave early :/

In commercials they usually have scenes of people having fun and playing around while they quickly cover the adverse side effects. A distraction of sorts.

Both of my parents have worked my whole life, and I turned out (mostly) fine. Daycares aren't really impersonal at all- they have ratios for children to adults, which gives a lot of help to the kids.

Uh, are you saying case by case people? Because that's an awful idea.

No, this was actually more about the electoral college.

Are you sure it was a cheese puff? That seems a little advanced for a Medieval society...

When she was in giant land and all the food was huge.

Haha, ever since I saw Ella Enchanted, I've wanted to eat a cheese puff the size of my face.

Kinda related?

I don't think it's specifically "Hogh School" but more of the age you are during high school. It's the age when (most) people start changing and hopefully maturing.

As a teen who was spanked as a child, I just thought I'd let you all know, that I am not "emotionally scarred" or anything like that... I've always imagined that I could never raise my hand and hit my own kid (when I have one) but my mother assures me that I will.

For all those who are saying the paramedic should have done his job correctly, you should know that ribs breaking during CPR is very common, due to the pressure you are supposed to put on them.

Well, I've "felt depressed" but I've never thought that I should or could be clinically diagnosed with depression.

I personally think it would be terrible to see my family and friends in such pain. Also, a lot of parents have marriage problems after the death of a child, I wouldn't want to see anything I couldn't un-see

That is just statistically probable, I don't get why you would post something like that...
I mean, you could just as easily say "You are friends/acquaintances with at least one person who owns a red car, amirite?"

I don't agree, while you wouldn't judge whether you should/want to be friends with someone because of their car color, you might choose/choose not to be friends with someone because they are a pothead

I think people would have gotten pretty upset. They've kind of done like with books like the vampire diaries and all, but they just used the characters and the basic settings and story lines and added a lot more for drama and stuff to "entertain" the viewer. In the end, I think the series would turn out even different from the books than the movies.

Yeah, in the books, everyone already knew their biggest fear and how to make it funny, but I have no idea what my biggest fear is...
