I think when two parents have children, that one of the parents should stay home with the child. I don't think it's in the best interest of a child to be raised by an anonymous daycare provider.

Both of my parents have worked my whole life, and I turned out (mostly) fine. Daycares aren't really impersonal at all- they have ratios for children to adults, which gives a lot of help to the kids.

As a teen who was spanked as a child, I just thought I'd let you all know, that I am not "emotionally scarred" or anything like that... I've always imagined that I could never raise my hand and hit my own kid (when I have one) but my mother assures me that I will.

For all those who are saying the paramedic should have done his job correctly, you should know that ribs breaking during CPR is very common, due to the pressure you are supposed to put on them.

It would be really cool if instead of turning the Harry Potter books into movies, they could've made them into TV series. Each book will be a season, and each chapter an episode. It would've been much cooler, plus they also would've been able to fit every detail of the book, add in extra details, and show us more about life in Hogwarts. Amirite?

I think people would have gotten pretty upset. They've kind of done like with books like the vampire diaries and all, but they just used the characters and the basic settings and story lines and added a lot more for drama and stuff to "entertain" the viewer. In the end, I think the series would turn out even different from the books than the movies.
