+397 People should only be allowed to remake bad movies, because you can make a bad movie better, but they always ruin a good movie. amirite?

I think Karate Kid looks pretty good. It has Jackie Chan AND Will Smith's son! You can't screw that shit up. Same with Taking of Pelham 123. You can't screw it up with John Travolta and Denzel Washington. If you do, you shouldn't be a director. Hell, you shouldn't even work at MCDONALDS.

i honestly think that the idea of the changes are really bad. the actors are fine but #1. jackie chan starts fighting 12 year olds wtf? #2. they made it into sort of a comedy its not the road to redemption story as much. #3 my friend said that all the girls say its dumb that this kid is like 12 and he has a love interest! wtf?. i guess i shouldn't say its a bad movie yet until i see it but for now i dislike the idea of it.

This post fails. If they remake an already bad movie who would want to watch the remake if the original sucked? That's like making a remake of motherhood, nobody would watch the first one, and ten years later there will be no interest for a remake.

I think thay shourld remake the HP films in maybe twenty years or so... and do them RIGHT this time! Although it will probably take more than twenty years for these films to wear off. Maybe more like a hundred.
