by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, they could use that one. Or they could use "Get the fuck in my van."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"NU! I'D RATHER DIE!"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha funny. If only you had used the word "everyday" correctly. :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's used correctly: http://www.eslgold.com/grammar/everyday.html

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It was edited. It originally said "everyday" without a space. After seeing my comment, the author edited it. Captain Obvious to the rescue.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Author didn't. I did. Nothing more fun than seeing a Grammar Nazi squirm. :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

d

by Anonymous 13 years ago

lol. No offense, bro

by Anonymous 13 years ago

im pretty sure it's catherine obvious..:)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it said "everyday" earlier...

The world isn't going to end

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Statistically it's improbable, but you can't know that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Statistically it's just as probable for the world to end any another day.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah that is a good point. However it doesn't change the probability.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Didn't some guy who was actually Mayan come out last year and basically say we were all dumb as shit because all that the end of their calendar meant was the ending of a certain cycle, not the end of the world?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No idea. I mean no, I don't believe it will end. However you cannot know for a fact that it won't, because statistically it could.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh I know that, I mean anything could potentially happen.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree with the idea that it is the ending of a cycle. The Earth and everything on it is cyclic. So whatever happens in 2012, I think it will be more of a re-birth to us.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That sounds so much more plausible than what Hollywood or the media would have us believe. It seems odd to me that some people actually believe that people thousands of years ago could have predicted, down to the very day, when the world would end.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The 21st for what time zone? Hmm

by Anonymous 13 years ago

DUDE that's my birthday. :o

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If the world DOES end (which I'm 98% sure it won't), I hope it ends in a cool way. Like if we all dropped dead - that's lame. The sun exploding - cool, but hurt like hell. I want a not so painful death. Cats turning against us - cool, but kinda embarrassing if we can't overtake them. The earth exploding - awesome, but I hope someone could be on the moon filming it so I can watch the awesome explosion in the afterlife. Alien invasion - like those green martians from movies. That would be cool.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

98% Hm...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm more scared of people who are going to act like the Earth is going to end than the Earth actually ending. Imagine how much crime is going to happen that December, and how many babies are going to be born the following September!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i'm hoping that they can somehow disprove this theory before december of 2012 that way i dont have to live my life in fear and so what you said doesnt happen.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Sucks that this person decided to be anonymous and now this post is the potd.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't think its going to happen.. But anyhow if you read about it. It isn't even really the world 'ending'.. Its like a new start or something crazy..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What 2012 is, is what a couple people said. The end of an era. Something some people don't know is that it is when the Earth and our Solar system is lined up directly to the centre of the galaxy. Why scientists worry, is we don't know the implications of this. Will this alignment cause drastic gravitational shifts that lead to other harsh effects? No one knows. We only line up like this once every 26, 800 years I think (I may be wrong but I think that is close) So, will our way of life drasticly change? As I said, no one knows.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yep it could be that and a number of possibilities. Like the poles shifting, it may or may not affect us. I am personally hoping that something will happen and humans will wake up and realize that we need to change. Maybe we will evolve? I heard theories of our DNA shifting from a double helix to a triple helix. stuff like that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

until the next day

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i dont get...ohhh!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@Renegade The triple helix is actually a type of recombinant DNA. I'm not going to lie and say a bunch of other half-knowledge I know, so read into it, but yes it is cool and would be cooler if it happened and we evolved. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. Also, the poles shifting is also possible. There are two possibilities to this one. The first one is that the magnetic field around the earth may reverse itself, north for south, and vice versa. This could be devastating to humanity because all of our electronical equipment may be rendered inept, or useless. Take an Electronics to understand this better. Another possibilily is the whole earth may flip upside down in space. Scientists do not know what will happen, but time are just two of the many possibilities. It has been found that the earth has had reversed polarity though, by geological study of rocks. In fact, they found that it has been reversed possibly many more times than we can know.
