NOBAMA!!!!!!!!!! No way is he going to take money I WORKED FOR and give it to people who need to GET THEIR LIFE TOGETHER!

Being in poverty does not count as needing to get your life together. Stop being such a selfish twat and get it into your head that some people really do need help and its people like you that stop progress. With this reform, your healthcare system may cost less and people would actually be able to get treated. I bet you want lenient gun laws too.

I second what Anon said. People who are against reform often don't know what emergency room costs are. Sometimes, people are too poor to afford health care, so they wait until their injury/illness gets really bad, and they go to the ER. If someone goes to the ER, they cannot be refused. They have to be treated. And tax money covers the costs. But if those people have affordable health care, they can get the treatment they need before it gets to be serious.

There are plenty of people who are hardworking but can't afford health insurance. My mom has worked two jobs for as long as I can remember and there were still times where we went years without health insurance. And even when we had insurance the jobS didn't offer any that would cover my brothers 'pre - existing condition' (Autism) and the alternatives were FAR too expensive.

As a British person, i think a health reform would really be a good thing for the US, the NHS is great, despite the horror stories. When i was little, i was in the hospital for a while and i was treated excellently by the staff who really knew what they were doing. By calling the NHS 'evil' Sarah Palin proved how much of a nutter she actually was.

I'm definitely pro health reform, but I'm mad because no one in the government has the balls to actually get it done. The best they've got is a bill so watered down that it's hardly any change at all. It no longer has anything that people really need in it so I'm just really disappointed.
