Girls who are embarrassed to eat in front of guys are annoying, amirite?

I'm embarrassed to eat in front of everybody. I NEVER eat in a public setting, unless I'm going out to eat with my family or something. I don't eat at school. It makes me feel self-conscious.

I'm the same way. I don't really know why I'm so embarrassed, because everyone else is eating too, but I just feel like everyone is watching me and it creeps me out.

Hold it. Hold it. Hold. IT. You eat your pasta with your hands?!?! Your parents are cool with that? How can you eat soup with a straw? I think the only soup that is JUST liquid is Tomato Soup. Other than that, you've got a bunch of chunks that you can't suck through a straw... I'm not so sure I believe you here...

Yeah, I'm kind of the same way. I hate it when people talk to me while I'm chewing, cuz I usually try to eat as fast as I can, so my cheeks are usually puffed out and the food is almost spilling out of my face. I don't see how that's not embarassing :P

Personally I'm embarassed to eat in front of anyone that I don't know well because I'm very clumsy and afraid that I'll spill something. 'Cause when it's with people I know well they're just like "oh, she spilled something, that happens all the time, whatever" but with new people it gets awkward.

There are some foods that I can understand being embarrassed to eat in public, such as ribs, wings or even spaghetti (because the sauce on all these foods gets EVERYWHERE) but overall, what's so embarrassing? Everyone on this planet HAS to eat. I'm no guy, but I'm pretty sure guys would feel more comfortable if their girl friends will eat in front of them.

Im like the exact same i cant eat in front of my bfriend or anything i can eat infront of my family and my best friends but i feel like everyone's watching me. I know its really stubid but i cant help it. Its a horrible feeling :(

same with me.. im 15 and i have a "thing" with a guy and he wants me to go to dinner with him. im really skinny, but i eat A LOT and i feel like i look gross when i eat and i get nervous. i rarely eat at school. i only eat in public when i go out to dinner with my family and my bestfriend. its really starting to bother me.):
