+393 Poor Anne Frank. First she gets her diary published, which is every girl's worst nightmare, and then on top of that she doesn't get any money from it, which is every Jew's worst nightmare, amirite?

Awful and racist.

awkward.

For one thing, Judaism isn't a race, so this post isn't racist. And also, World War two and the Holocaust happened 66 years ago (in fact today is the anniversary of D-day) GET THE FUCK OVER IT!

Anne Frank lived with Peter in an attic for two fucking years, if you didn't know. And it was all for nothing, because they didn't escape the Nazis like they'd hoped and ended up being killed. It sickens me that people make jokes about it.

lighten up mate

Once again, that was seventy years ago. Sure it's sad, but people have to move on.

I found it funny. I'm also a Jew.

I found it funny. I'm also Anne Frank.

she wanted her diary published. she wanted to be an author

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I laughed at this. And people need to settle down. I even find 9/11 jokes funny because I see humor in things, which you people need to do.

theres a difference between finding humour in something and not being offended by something. this promotes ridiculous stereotypes that have no base in time, and is historically inaccurate. anne frank wanted her diary published, as someone else mentioned. clearly the poster has never read her diary. and this isnt offensive because of holocaust references, its offensive because it is antisemetic and crude.

If someone has made a joke about me or something bad that has happened in my past, I laugh. Accept that people are going to have crude humor and laugh at stuff like this.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

but its NOT in the past. if everyone you cared about dropped dead, and someone laughed at you just as you found out, would you laugh along?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Its in the past. The second I found out? No. In the future? Probably. My boyfriend cracked a joke about my dog's brutal death, and even though I was crying because I told him the story, I laughed. That's just one difference between you and me. Now please, let me continue laughing at crude humor and you laugh at whatever you find funny.

its happening now. and, a dog is slightly different than eleven million people. just to put that out there. no need to respond, you can return the the crude humour this is obviously distracting you from.

1st of all, its actually everyones nightmare. 2nd, just because the Holocaust was 70 years ago doesn't mean anyone should forget. If we forget the past history is more likely to repeat itself in the future
