All cell phones ARE waterproof (as long as you take it out quickly)

Then it's not really waterproof if it can't stand being in water longer than a couple seconds.

But then how would stupid people learn a lesson about being careful with expensive stuff? I've had a cell phone for 10 years and never have I ruined one with water, or any other accidental damage. How is it people drop cell phones in toilets? What are the mechanics of that? Why is the phone out? Why can't the call wait? are your pockets too small to hold it? I just can't see it happening in any non-retarded way. I've ruined leather belts from going swimming in my jeans, but I remembered to leave my cell phone, keys, wallet, etc all tucked in to my shoes.
