They are actually making a spinoff show from The last airbender! Its about the next avatar in the series, a girl named Korra, who needs to learn airbending. During an interview about it, they asked the creators what they thought of the live action avatar movie, their response? "We're really just focusing on this project right now" LOL! So that is my large amount of information on this topic. I know more but whatever.

Yep..shyamalan killed avatar the last airbender and they want to do a proper remake that follows the series. I don't know if we will be seeing it any time soon though. Even the creators of avatar the last airbender thought the film sucked. Any film that has been shyamalaned sucks.

Well that's stupid because the show is obviously american. It was americans trying to make an anime so it's not really an anime. Most of he characters don't even look asian (shouldn't have been actually asian in the movie) and only the drawing style is kind of japanese, but you can tell it isn't. It sucks, this was a great show

The movie was AWFUL. I reccommend NOT seeing it. I was a die-hard fan, and it totally let me down. The whole theatre booed at the end.
