+788 They still play rock music from the 60's-90's on the radio, but they don't even play rap music from last year. amirite?

That's because rock music from the 60s and 90s is good. Where the rap music from last year sounds like every other rap song out there....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Maybe people who still listen to 60-90s rock just have trouble moving on.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, I think it's just better quality music. Since a lot of younger people listen to it as well.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hehe I'm a major jazz fan myself, so don't talk to me about quality music. Rock is just electrified folk music, and doesn't even approach the musical genius that goes behind a good jazz record.

That's what it's like to have your musical tastes dismissed as childish and moronic. I actually love 60s rock, and jazz and many other genres. Personally I can't stand rap but every style of music has something to offer those who like it so don't knock it.

They do play rap music from last year. How would you know anyway? You obviously don't listen to it enough to know.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They actually do. I don't know what radio stations YOU listen to..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How is this an opinion?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's because rap music is shit. They play songs which include actual instruments and not just computer generated, auto-tuned noise.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because rock is actualy music. anybody can talk really fast about drugs and sex to a beat. it actually takes talent to play an instrument.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The reason behind that would be that people who enjoy true rock have a much longer attention span than those who listen to rap.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just the way it should be.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Good.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because rap gets really repetitive, well, I actually think it gets repetitive during the song
