Yes. Her name was Aurora and she had a mother and father. She wasn't raised by the fairies, though.

Actually she was raised by the fairies. They took her to protect her until her sixteenth birthday, so she didn't have any contact with her mother until then.

Nala isn't really a Disney princess.o.o; Disney Princesses are humans. I've never seen someone say "Nala is a Disney Princess!" Besides, Simba was really the main character in Lion King.

Yes, Simba is a prince and Nala is a princess, but you can't exactly say she's an important Disney Princess. Disney Princes aren't exactly that important because they're little side-main characters compared to the Princesses. This time, Nala is the prince in this situation. She's not very important.

But she's wasn't extremely important to the movie. Disney Princesses are basically main characters in the movie they are in. Simba was basically the main character.
