+650 Wtf, why are there 5 million tv shows about people from Jersey? amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The tourists shops there realized nobody wanted to go to their crummy state. They figure if they put enough of it on tv people will want to go there regardless in hopes that they too could be on tv.

...crummy? New jersey is actually an amazing state. AND tons of people go there to go the beaches not because of the tv advertisement.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have never been there but I have heard bad stories from people that have. Never about the beaches though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well those are just some flaws. Sides every state has a lot of flaws. . .and the beachesss are amazing o.o

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yep. I would rather go to California than there based on stories from both though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

California has better beaches i agree. I'm just saying that you based Jersey on the wrong things.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Maybe I will go there some day and find out for myself.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

New Jersey is great... people who call it the armpit of America have obviously never been there.

I appreciate somebody who likes Jersey for its beaches -

or meet the people that are on the tv shows and laugh at them

People love watching people from New Jersey because their simple actions are frankly hilarious to us. Just watch Cake Boss and you'll know what I mean. As for the NJ being pretty thing, it's like this: People who pass through or visit from Manhattan hate it because all they see is the big cities, Trenton, Atlantic City, Newark, Hoboken.... all shite. But if they spend time there and go out into the sparser parts of the state they see exactly where its nickname "garden state" holds merit.

A car from NJ almost hit me when I was walking home from school in Manhattan one day. I'd like to know what the new meanings of "red light" and "walk sign" are please, New Jersey-ers. Thank You.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

One care from NJ hits you and now you have created a new stereotype for all of them. Wooooow.

Yea well i'm sitting on a nice comfortable couch in my hometown of new jersey right now. I just got in from new york a half hour ago and if you think new jersey drivers don't know the meaning of safe driving you're insane. I don't think new yorkers understand the concept of parking in a legal spot or looking before switching lanes. My beautiful state is a place where you can breathe easy without anyone running you over. And it's cheaper living than Cali.

I know right! That "Snookie" chick sucks.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Beatriz =)): none of the people on the Jersey Shore are even from new jersey, they're all from new york or new hampshire anyway so dont be hatin on us because of them

by Anonymous 13 years ago

okay im from Jersey, not all of us talk like that or act like those from the Jersey Shore. there are some stupid people but otherwise we're pretty normal. if there is such a thing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And every single one is inaccurate about what it's really like!!
