+578 It's stupid as hell that the women in the Brinks Home Security commercials stop in the middle of running from the burglar to answer the phone. Uh, you're still in danger, Dumbass! amirite?

exactly! dear god, if there was a scary burglar in my house i wouldn't answer the phone if it started ringing.

I love how calm they are about it too.

I like how the burglar acts more.

I love the one where the burglar is a guy who was at her party. 1) If the guy is going to be breaking into the house after everyone has left, wouldn't he check to see if there was an alarm? 2) Did anyone know sketch burglar guy or was she letting everyone in? 3) He broke in not moments after everyone left and no one else saw Andrew (I think his name was Andrew) double back?

doesnt the burgler run away after the alarm goes off?

Also, if I was getting chased by a burgular i wouldn't mind answering the phone because i could yell to whoever it is "There's a burgular in my house! Send help!"

..go to my profile, i deffineltly said this same thing except about broadview.

The burglar never stays in the house, he (it's always he) just turns around and books it out of there when the alarm goes off. Then the woman who lives alone in a massive 5 bedroom house can calmly step around the shards of glass and answer the phone.

but she never turns around to check if the guy is behind her before answering the phone. I guess she's secure that the scary alarm will keep the burglar away.
