+322 It's not like you'll wake up on your 18th birthday and suddenly be mature enough to make decisions about voting, amirite?

Voting isn't about maturity, its about education. I'm a politics student, and would say I would responsibly vote at age 16.

I'd say 35. By then all the younger adults would've had their kicks by then and start getting serious about life. :D

I would say whatever the age of criminal responsibility is in your country, that should be the voting age. In your situation, the age of criminal responsibility would be 35, in mine 16. When you actually face the result of the laws introduced by government, that is when you should have a say in who makes them.

Yes it does. The maturity faerie will come down while you are sleeping and suck the childishness right out of you. You will suddenly wake up in your SpongeBob Squarepants pajamas and scream "OH CRAP! I HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MYSELF NOW!".

I don't really care about politics, and I'm not sure how much 2 years would change me. By the time I could vote I'd be paying more attention to it all though.
