No, all fruits and vegetables are fruits, but some can also be vegetables.

Vegetables are any edible part of a plant, while fruits are seeds. Apples are an edible part of a plant, thus they're a vegetable, they're also a seed making them a fruit as well.

... What? No, they're two seperate things. Fruits are basically the seed holders for the plant, and vegetables are any other part of it you eat. I think.

Fruit is the seed-producing part of a certan plant, but vegtibles are the edible part of a plant that produces in other ways (ect. potatoes are roots, but there is no fruit on the potato plant) also, you ccant eat the bark of a friut tree and call it a vegitable

fruits are the enlarged "ovaries" of the plant. which hold the seed within them. a VEGETABLE is either the: stem, root, or leaf, of the plant. biology people. get it straight.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

That would be mind blowing, but its not true. Some vegetables are fruits, but no not all fruits are vegetables.
