+923 When someone says 'West Coast' most people just think of California, and forget poor Oregon and Washington, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No offense to anyone....but that's because washington has crummy weather and oregon is beyond bland.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not all parts of Washington...the farther east you go the warmer it is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's a good point. But in general, especially if you're talking about the coast of the west coast.

I live in the Tri-Cities, which is SE Washington, and yeah, it can get insanely hot here sometimes. I think we're getting triple digits this weekend. Gross.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I live in Moses Lake, which isn't that far from Tri-Cities,but I moved from Seattle...ugh,I'm still not used to being in 110 degrees! D:

If you say Oregon is bland, you've obviously never been there. Its beautiful and a whole lot better than crowded cities, traffic, and smog...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have actually. I didn't mean in terms of scenery. I mean in terms of things to do. Especially if you aren't an outdoors person.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok, if you're not an outdoorsy person than you've got a point. But otherwise, there's tons to do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Exactly. And i'm definitely not saying where i live is any better (NC). After you get past the historical stuff it's one boring place...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, when someone says west coast I think about all the states there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, sucks when you actually LIVE there. >.>

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha, I do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i do too

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When someone says west coast, I think about Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California, and Mexico and all the Central American countries. I don't think of them all idividually, I just picture a map in my head.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And Ecuador, Peru, and Chile

by Anonymous 13 years ago

True but I was just thinking of North America.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i live in california and i think of california and washington, when i think of the west coast, sorry oregon.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I mean, I definitely think of oregon and Washington because I live there. But Oregon, bland? Hmm. I dont know about that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oregon isn't bland...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thats what I thought. I wonder if they've been here. I think of the Midwest as bland, but then again, I've never been there so I'm not one to talk.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it isnt and i would know because i live there

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it's because California takes up most of the USA's west coast to begin with. and I prefer Seattle's weather to Southern California's.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

British Columbiaaaa too... la la laa

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hey man, I'm from Seattle!!! West Coast = THE BEST COAST. Washington, Oregon, or Cali. (and those western parts of Canada.)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

CALIFORNIA!!!! Its a nice state, ya know...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Uuuhhhh... Nevada! It's not exactly on the coast; but super close to it!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

BC for the win :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Cali's ok, but Oregon is better... The Midwest isn't bland either... Every pleace is nice in its own way

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I bet you're right, I've never been there, I think it's just how it's portrayed. California and Oregon are just really different, at least southern California.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thanks #334110. Oregon is not bland. It is wet, and to me, its home, so I don't think of just Cali, Although I have been to northern California.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I live in Seattle .

by Anonymous 13 years ago

OREGON ROCKS! bland? pffttt ya right :P
