+312 You've always wanted to write a book, but once you've started it, a chapter later, you desert it, amirite?

Desert as in the barren dry and sandy land with very little rain? Can't say I have.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You do realize that desert can also mean to abandon, right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What did you want him to say? You dessert it?

yum

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I did. It was called Frosty's Revenge: A Christmas Catastrophe It was 8 pages long.

I actually made a few chapter, then I realized it just kept getting worse, so I stopped.

Not in my book. Pun intended.

I've finished a couple that I'm actually satisfied with, but I've done my fair share of abandoning, too.

I tried to write one, once. The plot developed and resolved in the first 2 pages.

A while ago, I found a random prologue on my computer, and tried to remember what I was writing about. Of course, since I made he prologue as vague as possible to preserve some sort of big surprise in the story, I have no idea what I was thinking of writing.

I've never completely completed a book, but I have at least two that are several hundred pages long.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Same here. I kind of just abandon them :/

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I wrote 4 super short chapters.

I wrote 115 pages once, like 4 years ago.
