+230 Why do they sell Microsoft Points in 1400 and 2800, when basically everything on Xbox Live is in multiples of 400. amirite?

They sell them in 1600/4000 MP cards. That's how I get mine.

...2800 is a multiple of 400.

Same thing with iTunes. I have 54 cents left.... What do I do with it??

To get you to buy more Microsoft Points. Is this a serious question or a rant?

I think it has something to do with the same reason they sell packs of hot dogs in different numbers that packs of hot dog buns. So you can be tempted to buy more of one in order to even it out. Just to get more money out of you.

Well, it could be because they first thought of selling 2800 point cards, then they later decided that was too much, and cut that in half.

You can get 500/1000/2000/5000 via credit card, but yeah, its a stupid system

OH wow I really didn't expect this to get home paged :S I figured out they sell them differently in the states but in Canada, we can only get them in 1400 and 2800, unless we use a credit card.
