+603 No one visits just because they're "in the neighborhood", amirite?

Maybe no one visits you, do you not have a lot of friends? Or maybe you live in a shitty area for that kind of thing. I'm guessing a sub-urban development, some kind of gated community perhaps? Far enough from the city that the neighborhood is "safe" with good schools, but close enough that driving in isn't too much of a hassle. Could be the exact opposite, some kind of urban high-rise (the projects). A bad neighborhood that people don't really want to drive in if they don't have too? Or maybe they have to take an elevator or ten flight of stairs up to get to you? If your not a pain in the ass to get to and you have a bunch of good friends, I'm not sure what the problem is. But really, a lot of people actually do drop by because they're "in the neighborhood".

Actually, I'm talking about like in T.V. shows, when people show up at other people's houses wanting something from them, they say "I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by" or something like that, not as in "No one visits me although I'm in their neighborhood." Do you have to promote yourself saying that others do not have many friends? That's just sad. I have friends, and I only made this post for fun because I had recently seen it in a T.V. show. Maybe you shouldn't be jumping to conclusions, hm?

Wow, it wouldn't hurt to remove the stick from your ass.

No one wants you to come in for coffee. They want to do the deed.

I do all the time actually. I sometimes randomly show up at my good friends houses if I'm in the area and see what they're doing or if they want to get something to eat or whatever. And no, this isnt intrusive or awkward, my friends know how to turn down an invite and we know how to accept that they just don't feel like hanging out.
