+748 you wonder, what exactly is the purpose for having a shatterproof ruler? measuring doesnt get that intense. obviously, the creaters wanted their sword fights to last longer amirite?

That they do! I actually got in REALLY big trouble for having a ruler/sword fight with my friend - but that was probably because the rulers we were using were the meter-long ones x) Getting in trouble was worth it though, I will say! -xoxo

Actually, they make sense. If you're nerdy enough to have one, you'll have a lot of other stuff in your backpack that'll break it. My protractor broke after the first week of geometry.

I once broke a shatter proof ruler by hitting it on a desk and it actually did shatter.....just to let you know

My science and history teachers went through a combined 12 rulers last year, breaking them on students desks when they fell asleep/weren't paying attention.
