+762 Banning gay marriage is such an ignorant concept. It's not like you're stopping them from being gay, you're just depriving them of a basic human right, amirite?

finally someone who agrees with me! (:

I don't disagree with you... and I'm all for gay marriage. But marriage isn't really a "basic human right".

Youre gay!

(Blah!): You're a sexuality , see how stupid that sounds, dumbass.

I <heart3 the OP.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

SO TRUE!!! You are amazing for putting that out there! Thank you thank you thank you!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This is very true. And I don't really see someone as being either "straight" or "gay", really. It's just being with the person you want to be with, whether they're a man or a woman, and that's it. Pretty simple.

OP is beast ;)

If you think the right to love isn't a basic human right, then you can go back to North Korea.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Exactly. You're not stopping them from being publicly gay, or being with someone, or feeling the way they do, it's who they are. Who gives a crap? Stupid people. I've got news for you Catholics or whoever believes homosexuality is a sin- If God didn't want it, he wouldn't have created it.

this is a good post about gay rights... on of the best so far

Marriage is actually a religious thing, in the bible it is said to be between man & woman. I believe that gays should be able to get married though. But that is why most people don't want them to get married it's because they are very religious, it doesn't always mean they are against gays.

Well everybody has different religious beliefs...This is a free country, we shouldn't be denying somebody rights because of a certain group of peoples religious preferences. Atheists are allowed to get married aren't they? Marriage isn't always religious.

I agree completely. I was just repeating what I have been told when I bring up the subject.
