Proactive rarely works, amirite?

Proactiv is a horrible acne treatment that will only dry out your skin, causing it to peel and eventually become even more oily. It is, however, very good at removing paint from walls. Yes, it's that harsh.

I tried using it a really long time ago and my face only started getting worse. It was painful to use, since I have extremely sensitive skin, and it was just horrible. X-x

I use it and it works really well for me... it probably just depends on your skin.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. It dries it out too much, causing your body to produce even more oil. God forbid if you forget to use it one day.

My sister used Proactiv and advised everyone not to waste your money on it. Oh and customer service is a load of BS. I use SkinID and it worked really well right when I got it. Now I have acne marks but I have to keep using SkinID so pimples won't come. Does anybody know what to use for acne marks?

Oh and SkinID didn't cause the acne marks. They're there because when I was younger I wouldn't take care of my skin well. SkinID is great for pimples.

funny on how when i was looking at all these comments about how proactiv sucks, there is a proactiv ad! they are just making themselves more humiliated!

When they changed their formula, it made my skin break out in more- a type of allergic reaction. I use Clean and Clear now, and it's awesome and not harsh at all.

Acnefree is kind of a knock off of proactive but works soo great! i used proactive for 2 years and it didn't do hardly anything for me.

I don't even use Proactiv or any over the counter acne cream or whatever on my face...I just use olive oil :P

Proactiv worked for me...when I used it continuously. If you forget, even just once, beware! The acne comes back almost instantly with a vengeance!
