Well duh, they're English slogans. Made especially in English by English to sound catchy and short. Slogans of other languages sound better in theirs than in English. Come on.

It sounds better in English because the slogan was written in English so therefore the translation sounds kind of sloppy. I'm sure there are slogans written in French that don't translate to English very well, in which case they would sound better in French.
