try explaining that to the teacher, "you see, i couldn't do my homework because i fell through the trap door just inside my bedroom door to my new house, then i was trapped in the cellar for the whole night and half the morning until my dog triggered some thing that opened a hidden door, and i JUST managed to get on the bus! So clearly i couldn't do it!" "it's Monday, you had the whole weekend to do your homework, what happened to the rest of it?" "...dammit" haha, sorry, couldn't resist - just thought of that and decided to write it :D

yea but then every one would no that you had a trap door or hidden room. and that wouldnt be as fun any more

No, because then I would be afraid of somebody breaking into my house while I was gone, finding the secret room/trap door, then waiting inside of it to KILL ME. But that's just because of my paranoia.
