+170 When you make an observation like "your hair is long" and the person says "thanks!" it's clear that they think their hair is pretty because you weren't saying it looked good, you were just saying it was long. amirite?

I would say "I know." It's not always a compliment.

Your post is long, and as it happens, shit.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

what?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

i never really know what to say in those situations so i just say thanks even if i don't agree

by Anonymous 14 years ago

This probably should have been worded differently.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

why would someone just say their hair is long, if it's not a compliment?

by Anonymous 14 years ago

i mean obviously they should just say "thanks, i grew it myself!" unless it's a weave...

by Anonymous 14 years ago

maybe they were trying to grow it out, so that would make it a compliment. i dont know, this is a rather dumb post.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

this happened to me a little while ago. see, im black and apperently i dont have "black girl hair" so when people say my hair is long or soft, they ussually say it as a compliment...besides, i didnt know what else to say.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

I say thanks on accident sometimes to comments like that, it's not really a big deal.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

well why would you make a stupid observation like "your hair is long" in the first place. how do you expect someone to respond to that?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah now you're just grasping at stuff that isn't there. At least let us know when you make a post while chewing on a mushroom.
