-77 It is better to have pricier healthy food in a small portion, than the huge portions you get from most restaurants, amirite?

Sorry, I'd rather not pay 40 bucks for a meal that I'll still be hungry after eating instead of paying 15 and not being able to finish because I'm so stuffed.

Stuffed full of shit. Smaller portioned foods have everything you need a majority of the time. You just proved that humans are gluttons.

No, actually. Most meals I tend to buy have plenty of what I need. And I usually don't tend to eat until I get stuffed, but when I'm not able to finish all of my food in one sitting, I bring home the rest for another family member, or for a meal the next day. So in that case, it's more like I'm spending little money for two meals.

You shouldn't have worded your original response so poorly. A majority of the time we are getting what we want, not need.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

True, but you shouldn't have automatically assumed I was a glutton.

You said, "not being able to finish because I'm so stuffed," therefore I think it was a pretty safe assumption to make.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

True as well, but I was merely trying to say that some meals are so big that if I were to attempt finishing it, I would be too stuffed to be able to. I'm not saying that I tend to do so.

woah woah woah. Why does it say "sokem_bopper" when someone replies to you!?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It was my old user name.

Health wise - perhaps - but most food is all right in moderation. As for huge portions at restaurants, you could always take any remainder home and eat for a few days.

It would be easier if you just got bigger portions for a smaller price and save it for another occasion or someone else. However, not many people do that. And a lot of people eat until their plate it cleared and not when they are full, maybe because they are obligated not to waste. Or because they still want to eat it. :P

The expensive healthy food in America would be considered cheap in Japan...just a little perspective for you.
