+359 "Honk if you love Jesus, text while driving if you want to meet him." The message is right, don't text while driving, but if you die doing it, you probably won't be meeting Jesus, if you know what I mean, amirite?

Are one of the 10 commandments "Thou shall not text whilst driving"? No, I didn't think so. A driver should be careful but I'm sure they aren't gonna go to hell for not following the laws of the road...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Is texting while driving a sin now? Fuckin' retarded.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@330634 (skateman2012): In all fairness, you couldn't text or drive back when the bible was written, so for all we know, it could be like the #1 sin, and they just never managed to tell us.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Forgive me for being an Atheist and not knowing the Bible word for word, but wouldn't God know that texting would be invented? Wouldn't he make some vague law about not putting others in danger to prevent deaths in this period in time?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Sure, God probably knew about it, but he didn't want to confuse everyone with made-up words is all.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"Thou shalt not endanger thy neighbor" contains confusing, made-up words?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It does to me D:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well regardless if its s sin, that doesn't mean you can't go to heaven. I'm a Christian, I text and drive.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't care what religion you are, you're a fucking idiot.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why am I an idiot? What does this post have to do with you? Why do I hate you?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're a fucking idiot because you text while driving!!!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

only at red lights, and straight roads.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Besides its legal in my city.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, because that makes it all better. Texting while driving is worse then talking on the phone or getting drunk. And it's actually not legal where you live. There is a nationwide law against "distracted driving". Plus you're 17. You're a menace to yourself and everyone around you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's smart of me to do, it's a huge flaw. it's only illegal if I wreck. But yeah, I've seen "seven pounds" I know the consequences.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The thing is that it's not just a risk that you're taking for yourself, it's a risk that you're taking for whatever other random people happen to be on the road at the same time you are. A freshman girl got into a crash right near my house last week. Her nose was broken, her facial bones cracked, and she swallows eight of her teeth. The driver was 17 and he wasn't even drunk or high or texting or anything. Now that girl is probably going to look like Joan Rivers for the rest of her life. But were done here. See ya next time we disagree. :-/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

:( that sucks. Ever seen seven pounds though? Best made anti-texting film. And I'm sure their will be a next time, I get the feeling I've argued with you in the past.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah I did see 7 pounds and i thought it was great. Will Smith is my favorite actor. I'm pretty sure we have argued in the past, but it was neither of us got really angry or anyhting. Might have been abot religion...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I thought Morgan Freeman was your fav :O

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Will Smith is my favorite actor. Morgan Freeman is my favorite narrator/all around person/diety.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

just because you text while drive, or make one mistake, doesn't mean God gives up on you. He gave us eternal love and he isn't gonna take it back because of a stupid mistake that you will be eternally haunted by.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"but if you die doing it" i'm not sure , but i think OP night have had meant "doing it" if you know what i mean. i mean sex btw

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i think this post applies more to if you accidentally kill other people as well as yourself as a result of texting and driving, in that case yeah you would likely go to hell

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Shit happens. God loves all of us no matter what.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You could commit whatever sin and still go to heaven if you are saved. Isn't that the whole point of Christianity?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yep, the point of Christianity is to ensure people that they will be happy after they die and all they have to do is spend their entire life thanking a spirit for that. [offtopic] I really hate going to church, but my parents make me go even if I hadn't any sleep at all the night before. [/offtopic]

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What about the unforgivable sins like murder suicide etc.???

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Most Christians actually believe in redemption. If you ask forgiveness, you will be forgiven. They believe that Christ died for all sins, past and future, which is a difficult concept for most people to grasp. That means that if I accept redemption through Christ, and I sin a couple times today, and die tonight, God will still accept me into heaven because I've been forgiven. The Bible doesn't say ANYTHING about unforgivable sins.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's fucking retarded.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

how is texting while driving an anti christian thing?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

well, neither texting nor driving were around when the bible was written, so how do we know it wouldn't be considered sinful? and endangering the lives of others is definately not a good thing, soo...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That sign is everywhere!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

holy comments, batman!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, OP, I don't know what you mean. Really.
